Hello everyone! This is my entry to Lifescape Tribe's Night Photography Contest. Parks like this is very common in Japan. They are close by residential areas where people can hang out or exercise. The photo above, taken during a peaceful evening stroll, shows the serene ambiance of the park. Although it was night, the park was brightly lit by streetlamps. It's surrounded by plants and trees. There were empty benches around the open area where people can rest and breathe the night air.
That night, the park was mostly empty but it was far from lifeless. Occasionally, a lone passerby could be seen walking, maybe a salaryman returning home, or a local resident walking their dog, like the one in the photo below. Somehow, I found their presence comforting. It reminded me that I'm not alone.
It was the kind of night that made me relax and appreciate the natural beauty of my surroundings. A perfect night to pause from the daily grind and the rush of urban life. I find myself lucky to take some time off and have this vacation in Japan.
