Beautiful Black

Hello there! It's good to have you come check out this post. I'm glad to be sharing my entry for this wonderful contest again. Hope you enjoy every one of the shots and the story along.

The colour black is associated with power, elegance, formality and a sense of authority. It has widespread use in technology, heat-absorbing mediums, and in design to give a feeling of sophistication, create contrast.

As opposed to the popular connotations of the colour black; with evil, sorrow, and the like, I find the colour very fascinating. It has the ability to complement virtually everything. Maybe it's why you hardly find a person without black shoes or some black coloured clothes. Check the gadgets we use, the common utensils and materials at home as well. Black is universal.

To participate in this contest, I had to just look around my room, and there were already tons of things wrapped in the colour black, had to take only a few for this. One of such that caught my attention was my shades (eyeglasses). It was lying around the corner where I keep it, and it has really been handy whenever I was stepping out.

There's this wrist bead also, that I like to wear. More like an accessory. It was lying just around the shades so I had to bring it into the picture as well.

My phone charger and the cords are also black. It's been useful and resourceful since I got it. For some reason, I like it black like that. Then there's this earbud of my friend, it's something that makes listening to music much more enjoyable for me. I had it captured as well, since it was black. I got to discover that many gadgets and devices are black, and that left me wondering why.
