Feels good, man. If you've wandered into the Pepe corner of Hive and wondered how it all fits together the token, the tips, the blog, the games, the Power Up Days this is a friendly, honest map of the pond. No hype, no price talk, no "this will moon." Just how the froggie-frens actually operate.
First, the respect where it's due: Pepe the Frog is a cartoon character created by artist Matt Furie. The healthiest corners of Pepe culture treat him as a symbol of good vibes and community "feels good man" and keep their distance from the ugliness that hijacked the meme years ago. Everything below is in that spirit.
@pepetoken is the hub the home of the Hive-Engine PEPE token and the froggie philosophy of "love, memes, and feels good man." Over the past month it's been busy: a disclosed 1% "PEPE Tax" that skims a sliver of reward distributions into a "Lilly pond" liquidity stream, Frog Pond LP Rewards for people who provide liquidity, and pepes.blog, a place to post and earn PEPE.
@pepe-voter is the curation arm, and — refreshingly — it publishes how it votes. Two posts recently: "The Curation Rules I Actually Vote By" and "Why I Vote Last, Not First." That second one is a small masterclass: voting late so the reward goes where the judgment is actually informed. Transparency about how rewards get allocated is rare and good.
@memehive runs the Monthly MEME/PEPE Power Up Day on the 26th timed near World Meme Creators Day (March 26). It's a recurring community ritual: power up your MEME/PEPE, join the combined-tribe meme contests, win delegations and tokens. Mark your calendar.
@pepebot quietly posts daily tip summaries — an honest, automated record of PEPE love flowing between frens. And newer to the circle, @pepetrader brings a "Trade Like a Frog: Calm in the Chaos" voice the anti-FOMO, keep-your-head energy that any meme community could use more of.
Three honest mechanics, no magic:
Notice what's not on that list: no promises, no price predictions, no "guaranteed" anything. The healthy Pepe pond runs on participation, not speculation.
The froggie circle has a nice culture of transparent scarcity burn posts that destroy a slice of tokens and show the on-chain proof and the holder list. That's the right way to do scarcity: visible, verifiable, honest. Compare it to projects that claim scarcity they can't show. On Hive, you can check.
Long before the current memecoins, Rare Pepes were real collectible cards issued on Counterparty (on Bitcoin) back in 2016, with PEPECASH as their native currency 1,774 cards across 36 series, a genuine piece of crypto-art history. Many now live as wrapped collectibles you can verify and display. If you ever want to explore that lineage, the froggie-fren marketplaces on the Ethereum side (like pepe.wtf) are where the OG Rare, Fake, and Dank Rares congregate. Always verify provenance before you value anything.
The Pepe pond on Hive isn't a get-rich scheme — it's a community that happens to have a token. That's the part worth joining.
Feels good, man. 🐸
