Elite Dangerous Missions

I must wipe out the faction.

Here is an example of a mission in Elite Dangerous, which consists of eradicating the personnel of a planetary station. It is obviously an illegal action and will have consequences.

But for the BackGround Story (BGS), it is sometimes important to carry out these missions to increase the power of our faction (Prismatic Imperium) by sabotaging the work of competitors, in this case the Eravins Services.

Here is the mission:

How to do it

Personally, I arrive on the planet, land the ship sometimes inside the station, sometimes at a distance, and then approach using my SRV, the Scarab type.
I send my ship into orbit, which prevents the enemy from ambushing me or destroying my ship.

From there, I look for a terminal in the habitation sector to locate the entrance to their power plant (where I take the identity of a grade 3 engineer, whom I take down with my silenced weapon).

Next, my priority is to disable the alarms, which I also located on the terminal:

If I pass information tablets, I download the faction’s secret data, which I can then send to my superpower and thus help Aisling Duval for the Empire.

Back on the terminal, I then locate the base defenses in order to disable them.

In theory this step is not necessary, but if the situation were to turn sour, I prefer knowing that cannons and other defense devices won’t add anything to my debacle 😄…

Eliminations

From that moment on, one could say the base belongs to me. I just need to remain discreet to avoid all the survivors coming at me at the same time.
I also use the terminal to locate personnel and eliminate them one by one.

As you can see, there are already only 4 guards left outside, the personnel inside having been surprised by my silencer…

Power cut

Just for a bonus action, and to bring back a souvenir that I can resell, once there is no soul left alive, I also cut the power to the base. This takes 5 minutes, so only do it if you don’t mind waiting. And remember to take their power regulator with you.

Lock the doors open before cutting the power, to avoid getting stuck inside without batteries…

Bounties and consequences

Mission accomplished!
I return to the Prince’s Palace to collect my bounty…

However, I lost reputation with the Eravins, inherited 3 hours of notoriety that prevents me from paying my fines, and therefore I am wanted by the authorities…
Bounty hunters can therefore kill me without consequence and claim a reward.

So in the meantime…

Either we rest while leaving the game open, or we play as if nothing happened, staying alert — at any moment, a hunter could be on our six!!!

Je dois massacrer la faction.

Voici un exemple d emission dans elite dangerous, qui consiste à devoir éradiquer le personnel d'une station planétaire. C'est évidemment un action illégale qui aura des conséquences.

Mais pour le BackGround Story (BGS), il est parfois important de faire ces missions pour augmenter la puissance de notre faction (Prismatic Imperium) en sabotant les travaux des concurrents, dans ce cas-ci les Eravins Services.

Voici la mission :

Et ce qu'elle me rapporte, si je la réussi:

Comment faire

Personnellement, j'arrive sur la planète, je pose le vaisseau parfois dans la station, parfois à distance, et je m'approche ensuite avec mon VRS de type Scarabée.
J'envoie mon vaisseau en orbite, ce qui empêche l'ennemi de me prendre en embuscade ou de détruire mon vaisseau.

De là, je cherche un ordinateur, dans le secteur des habitations, pour repérer l'entrée de leur centrale électrique (pour y prendre l'identité d'un ingénieur de grade 3, que j’abats avec mon silencieux).

Ensuite ma priorité est de couper les alarmes, que j'ai aussi repéré sur l'ordinateur :

Si je passe à côté de tablettes d'informations, je télécharge les données secrètes de la faction, que je pourrai envoyer à ma superpuissance et ainsi aider Aisling Duval pour l'empire.

A nouveau sur l'ordinateur, je repère ensuite les défenses de la base, pour les désactiver.

En théorie cette étape n'est pas nécessaire, mais si la situation venait à tourner au vinaigre, je préfère me dire que les canon et autres engins de défenses ne rajouteront rien à ma débâcle 😄...

Eliminations

A partir de ce moment là, on peut dire que la base m'appartient. Je dois juste rester discret pour éviter que tous les survivants me tombent dessus en même temps.
J'utilise, là aussi, l'ordinateur pour repérer le personnel et les assassiner les uns après les autres.

Comme vous pouvez le voir, là il ne reste déjà plus que 4 gardes à l'extérieur, le personnel en bâtiment ayant été surpris par mon silencieux ...

Coupure du courant

Juste pour une action en bonus, et ramener un souvenir que e pourrai revendre, quand il n'y a plus âme qui vive, je coupe aussi le courant de la base. Cela prend 5 minutes, donc ne le faites que si cela ne vous dérange pas d'attendre. Et pensez à prendre leur transformateur avec vous.

Bloquez les portes en ouverture avant de couper le courant, pour éviter de vous retrouver coincé à l'intérieur et sans batteries ...

Primes et conséquences

Mission accomplie !
Je rentre au Palais du Prince pour toucher ma prime ...

Par contre, j'ai perdu en notoriété auprès des Eravins, j'ai hérité de 3h de notoriété qui m'empêchent de payer mes amendes, et donc je suis recherché par les autorités... Les chasseurs de primes peuvent donc m'abattre sans contrepartie et toucher une prime .

Alors en attendant ...

Soit on se repose en laissant le jeu ouvert, soit on joue comme si de rien était en prenant garde, à tout moment un chasseur peut se trouver à nos 6heures !!!
