Monomad Challenge: Capturing Simplicity

(edited)

The warmth that comes with black and white photography is next to none.

As someone said, “Black and white photography shows the soul of a picture.” I couldn’t have agreed more. This type of photography strips you of all the distractions that come with multiple colours evident in a photograph and leaves it in a raw state, unique and beautiful.

Today, I decided to take some random shots of objects found in my brother's house. Interestingly, they came out so well that I couldn’t help but share them with you all.

My brother is a fan of scented candles, he enjoys the warm and serene atmosphere these candles create. He has them in different colours and sizes. To him, scented candles aren’t only for creating romantic atmospheres.

I took a picture of this camera, simple and very portable. Having a camera you can swing in your bag and can take any and everywhere is amazing!

Having a mini bookshelf with your favorite books is so cool and I couldn’t hesitate to take a shot of the shelf.

I was able to capture this amazing view with the help of the window net.
