A Small Gesture, A Big Memory

Last week, I had prepared something for my colleagues and I plan on buying together with my other co-workers. Well, before that happened, I went to one of my close co-worker and talked about anything.

Then, that anything had a conversation about my last day of my work. I didn't plan on buying some food for my colleagues but an idea hit me when there were lots of food that the co-workers prepare a week before my last day of work.

I, then, told my colleagues that was good at cooking food because he was amazing on cooking dessert food and while we were talking, there was someone that voluntarily said that she would cook one of the dessert.

There were lots of options that we can cook for the food that we would prepare during my last day of work and the one who will cook gave me a lists of food that he could make.

I asks my other colleagues on what dessert do they like but I didn't tell them that it's for that and they have told me about different kinds of food dessert and while talking to my colleague who will cook. I told him that we can make three kinds of dessert.

Although, my colleague hesitated to cook the food but thankfully one of my colleagues volunteer to cook one of the three options that I made.

The three desserts that I picked were the spaghetti, mango tapioca, and the coconut salad. Although, it was not so extravagant and it's feels like it will be enough but I think it's a last gift for them that I will give to my colleagues at the company.

We serve these three desserts as early in the morning because we will have another snack in the afternoon. So, yeah, many colleagues came by and eat the dessert that we prepare in that morning.

I was glad that my colleagues were enjoying the food that I prepared to them. Most or all of them enjoyed the food that I prepared and it's thanks to my colleagues that prepared the dessert beforehand since I only gave my colleagues money to buy some ingredients for the dessert that we were going to eat in that morning.

At the same time, I was also happy because they finished the food that we prepared together. It's like a lightning that it was empty for a couple of minutes even if that's big of a dessert that I prepared for them...

In the end, they were very delighted and they were full of energy with the food that I prepared for them. It's one of the memories that I will never forget for the last day that I had on that company.
