This May 31, my daughter celebrated her 7th birthday. Unlike other families who prepare big parties with balloons, cakes, and many visitors, we had a very simple celebration. To be honest, we are already used to simple birthdays, and what matters most is that we are together.

This year was a little different because we were all busy and did not have enough time to prepare. At first, I felt a little sad because I wanted to do something special for her. But my eldest child came up with a nice idea. Instead of buying new dresses, she let her younger sister wear some of her clothes and dresses for a mini photoshoot. It was a simple idea, but it made the day more special.

We spent some time taking pictures around the house. We used our camera and my son pressed something weird, so the year was 2014. I told my daughter to fixed it, but she said she doesn't know and let it so the photos will look a bit old. Looking at the results, I realized how fast my daughter is growing. She looked happy and confident in front of the camera. As her mother, I can't help but feel proud of her beauty, not only outside but also inside. She is sweet, loving, and always tries her best.

The most special part of the day was when we went to church. Before anything else, we wanted to thank God for another year of life, good health, and blessings. For me, this is the most important part of every birthday. Material things come and go, but being able to thank God for His guidance is something very meaningful.

After visiting the church, we treated ourselves to milk tea. It was not expensive, but it made everyone happy. We sat together, talked, laughed, and took a lot of selfies. Sometimes, those simple moments become the best memories.
As I looked at my daughter that day, I felt thankful. Life is not always easy, and there are many struggles along the way. But moments like this remind me that happiness does not always come from grand celebrations. Sometimes it comes from simple family moments, a few photos, a cup of milk tea, and a thankful heart.
