Celebrating Birthdays In High Tides
Happy weekend @asean.hive community. We hope that the weather in your place is sunny and good. It's been three days since my children missed school. Monday and Tuesday were the feast days of San Juan Bautista. Wednesday was the general medical of the public teachers in public schools. Yesterday and Thursday was because of the high tides. Although there were no strong storms we still experienced a high tide. And it's not just an ordinary high tide, a 5'2 feet high was scheduled yesterday and last Thursday. I often asked others how high the flood may be released, but now I found it myself! Today is 4'9 feet we thought that the flood won't overflow from the other side, but it still does.
My son took pictures because he told me he needs to send it to his group chat. I couldn't believe that his also like his elder sister @katsuki29.
Yesterday was the third birthday of Mae-Mae Mariel's daughter. I often featured her in my posts here in Asean hive. Her cuteness is irresistible. My husband even had a joke before; he said that it's okay with him if Katsuki will have a daughter like Mae-Mae but looks like she doesn't want to have her own family. I know they are already tired of the situation we have, inside and outside of our home.
Because of the high tide my kids didn't go to their grandparents house. But they messaged and gave us foods from Mae-Mae's simple birthday celebration. Filipinos always cook pansit or noodles for a long life especially when celebrating birthdays.
While I can't help being proud of myself. I'm three years on the hive block chain! The community that helped me to improve as a person and a writer. There are no big wins if we won't start on the small ones.
Belated happy birthday to Mae-Mae Mariel's daughter. Even if there's a little flood around your place but you still celebrated her birthday. More birthdays to come.
