4AM Jog

Hiii everyone!
It’s been a while since I last posted (╯︵╰,) around two weeks, I think. I sincerely apologize for the sudden silence. Schoolwork has been keeping me super busy lately, and I’ve had to focus on getting things done before deadlines pile up. But today, I finally had some time, okay so I wanted to share a little story about how my day went!

This morning was a bit different from usual. My friends Sam, Miguel, and I decided to go for an early morning jog. And I mean really early — we started at around 4:00 AM. We jogged from our house all the way to Magsaysay Bridge, which has become our favorite jogging route. There’s something about that place that just feels calming. Maybe it’s the way the air feels fresh and clean, or how peaceful it is with barely any cars or people around. The mist hung low over the ground, and the cold morning breeze made everything feel even more serene, especially since the sun hadn’t risen yet.

As we jogged (and walked a little here and there, haha), we talked about all sorts of things like schoolwork, friends, what we’ve been up to lately, and even some deeper stuff about life. We made a lot of jokes along the way too. Sam, being the class clown and the group’s unofficial comedian, had us laughing the entire time. His humor always adds something special to moments like this, making them more memorable.

Time flew by as we talked and ran, and before we knew it, we had already reached the end of the bridge. It was surprising how fast it felt, probably because we were enjoying the conversation so much. We did catch a glimpse of the sunrise, though it was mostly hidden behind clouds. Still, the soft light creeping in through the mist was beautiful in its own way.

After reaching the end of the bridge, we turned around and jogged back toward home. By then, more people were starting to appear on the streets, a quiet sign that the city was beginning to wake up. When we arrived back at our place, Sam and Miguel didn’t come inside. They were in a rush to get home and get ready for church, so after a quick goodbye, they headed off.

Even though it was just a short morning jog, I honestly loved every part of it. It reminded me how good it feels to move, talk, and simply be with people who make you feel lighter. I hope your day is going great, too!(≧▽≦)

I love to jog when there's no sun yet and when it's too tiring you can witness the sun rise and you will forget your sweats falling down.
