It’s 1:04 AM over here right now, so I guess… good morning, everyone!
And a big HELLO to those of you in different timezones!
How are you doing? Even though it’s Monday the blues , I still hope you’re having an awesome and lucky day — one that’s even better than yesterday!
Today, I’m sharing some photos I took while walking around the vibrant streets of Ho Chi Minh City — or as many still call it, Saigon.
Personally, I believe Vietnam is a paradise for photography lovers like me. Every corner has a story waiting to be captured — moments frozen in time through the lens, each one telling its own unique tale.
Saigon is a very busy city — full of energy, movement, and daily hustle. It can be quite a challenge to keep up and survive here, with so much competition packed into every single day.
But at the same time, this city also holds endless opportunities — if you're willing to fight for them. That’s the beauty of Saigon: it’s tough, but it rewards those who don’t give up.
The following photo was taken from inside the car while my wife and I were on our way to the airport.
A moving food vendor — ladies making the most of every opportunity by selling snacks and drinks right in the middle of the busy traffic.
Even while you're stuck waiting for the car to move, you can still grab a quick refreshment. Like I said before, there’s always opportunity out there — and these women are living proof, turning hustle into survival.
The collectors never stop moving — always on the lookout for anything they can gather and sell as recyclable items.
Even once something ends up in the trash, it’s not necessarily the end for it. There’s always someone out there picking it up, hoping to earn a few dollars from what others throw away.
As long as you’ve got a motorbike, there’s always something you can do to earn a bit and put food on the table.
Honestly, only lazy people will say they can’t find work or make money around here
Having two or even three jobs here? Totally normal. Gotta do what you gotta do to keep things going.
I really love this city — a place that never stops moving, never sleeps. There's always something happening, and that’s what makes it so alive.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and I’ll see you again in the next journal.
This kind of everyday hustle most people overlook, but it says so much. It’s gritty, raw, and real life. I like that you find beauty in the grind, the chaos, and the movement of Saigon.
Yeah , it was actually not just in Saigon but also in other places in the world .
True, it’s something you can see in so many parts of the world. Different places, different settings, but the same drive to make things work, no matter what.
Monday is so busy, the busiest day if the week. In your photography everyone is busy doing different kinds of works. Everyone is serious and looking forward for a beautiful week.
Same here , i already looking forward to weekend.
Agree. If you live in the city, one job is not enough to sustain your needs. And yes, there's always something you can do to earn. Laziness is not good as it will bring you to nowhere. So let's keep on grinding. We can do this!
I wish that opportunity come for those who are kind and hardworking.
🎉🎉🥳 Congratulations 🥳🎊🎊

keep up the good work
No wonder all those western companies move production to Vietnam , if people are willing to take 2 or 3 jobs it must be cheap labour . Kind of set that we in the west are willing to pay less but at what cost ..

They are very kind and hardworking people, but it's unfortunate that Vietnam is one of the countries known for providing cheap labor despite the hard work they do. In other words, it becomes an opportunity for others.
I know they are kind , my old neighbours were imigrants from Vietnam , never had any problems with them.
Wow. Everyone is busy in doing something. In Baguio also, you can see vendors pulling the track to transfer baggage to another area.
I miss philippine . One of my favorite place too.
You had a very busy roads there. Same in Manila you'll see busy streets at all corners. You'll see business everywhere from small to big ones.
There will always opportunity for those who embrace it.
The view of the city shows that pepole are busy making their lives. Everyone has their own business to keep things going. It's true that only lazy people will say they can't make money, because there are tons of ways how to do it.
Happy Day :)
Yeah , lets make another productive day today .
Hey, @justinparke here. Sorry for the inconvenience, but my family and I arrived in the USA and for several days we were busy getting over jetlag and visiting family. Now I am back to voting and curating, but will be voting at roughly 50% less than normal until I am caught up again. Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope for all to be back to normal within 48 hours.
