Hello everyone!
It’s Tuesday, and I’m proud to say I made it to day three of curating! 🙌
It’s already 1:49 AM, and honestly… I almost didn’t write today’s journal. I dozed off just a while ago, even though I had promised myself I’d post something tonight.
Luckily, I woke up for a quick toilet break and saw @ecency still open on my laptop screen — like it was calling me back to finish what I started. 😅 So here I am, squeezing in this post before heading back to sleep!
Anyhow, it’s never too late to wish everyone a good morning, afternoon, evening, or night — wherever you are in the world! 🌍
How are you all doing? How’s everything going? I hope today’s been treating you well — even better than yesterday! Let’s keep the good vibes rolling.
Yes, one of the biggest reasons I love Vietnam is definitely the food!
It totally suits my taste as a fellow ASEAN foodie, and honestly, I fell in love with it right away. The flavors, the variety — it’s just so good. But... there’s a little catch. My wife isn’t a big eater like me, so she kinda limits how much I get to indulge.
It’s honestly frustrating when you're surrounded by amazing food and can't fully dive in. Arrgghhh… you know what I mean, right?! It's not just delicious — it's also super affordable, way cheaper than back home.
I’ve made so many excuses just to sneak in extra bites and enjoy it all. But I usually stop when I catch that look from her… and I’m sure every husband here knows exactly what look I’m talking about.
Today is my last day in Vietnam, and guess what… I still haven’t tried the famous Bánh mì — or their version of a kebab (I think it's a kebab? 😂). It’s literally everywhere on the streets, and it only costs around 25,000 to 30,000 VND! I’ve been talking about trying it even before we arrived in Vietnam. OMG.
But then — plot twist — the food mission took a different turn. While heading out to buy some local instant noodles at a 24-hour mart just across from our hotel, we ended up grabbing a bunch instead. We got Hao Hao, which my wife’s friend highly recommended. We bought like six different variations!
I totally forgot to take a photo of them though… my brain was somewhere else at the time (you know what I mean, right? 😜). But don’t worry — I’ll snap a pic when we reach our next destination tomorrow!
Out of nowhere, I mentioned that we still had a bit of extra money and said, “Let’s go get some Bánh mì!” — and she just said, “Okay.”
You have no idea how happy I was in that moment. Seriously, I was over the moon!
But , I think she just gave me the green light because she knew how much I wanted it and wanted to see me smile. She didn’t even order one for herself, and not even a single bite — even when I offered her some back at the hotel.
Can you see the stall just in front of me ? It was only 1 minutes away from the hotels.
You see , it was just 28,000 VND !
It's time to order . I just get a take away for myself because i was planning to have it with coffee at the hotel later.
Look special with it own wrapper.
I making their local WAKE UP 3 in 1 coffee at the hotel . Its not as good as the one we order from outside but since its free so i can consider its as okay.
Ready for the food !! Look at the clocks , its already near midnite that we went out for food hunting.
Enjoyed my Bánh mì while watching the latest episode of Running Man — any other Running Man fans here? Say hi! 😄✋
Well, I guess that’s all for today. Time to hit the bed — we’ve got to check out tomorrow and head off to our next adventure.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you had a good time reading today’s journal.
See you again in the next journey — until then, take care and stay awesome!
Good hunting is fun. You can met new foods. Vietnam has so many different foods especially in the street foods. I really like this one. We called it tacos and locally we have very famous brand called shawarma. It was so delicious and whenever I went to the market I always bought this one.
Yeah , it was fun not only because the food was everywhere but my wife keep naggint to me not to eat that and that. :p. LOLZ. I really love to taste the version of your kebab or tacoz in future . :).
I have not been to Vietnam yet, but the way you describe the food makes me want to visit the place in the future.
Come to vietnam , its not like they being paid to promoted them but yeah , it worth it to come here :).

Hahaha .. LOLZ . yeah , and my wife keep telling me the same . haha
Vietnamese food really knows how to win hearts! Every bite’s a flavor bomb. I already tasted Banh mi and it's one of my favorite sandwiches. 😍
Yeah , we are in same team sis. I love it so much too.
Hehe, Yes! 😃
Wow, midnight snacks looks delicious, but I wouldn't be able to sleep if I drank coffee at night. I haven't tried bahn mi but for sure it's delicious and filling. I enjoy Running Man too; I like their challenges and their funny reactions.
Yeah , i got the same team here. Your comment make me want to make a coffee before i make the new post today.
The Banh Mi looks delicious, but I don't know what it tastes like. 🤔 I saw that in one of the convenience stores in my place but haven't tasted it yet. I watched The Running Man once but missed the next one as I was swarmed with an editing job. 🥹 Have an exciting adventure on your next journey. Have fun!☺️
