HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR

I wish everyone has a prosperous year of 2023.

In this Chinese New Year, I ll celebrating it at my wife home. She is half Chinese and half local or dusun. Her father is pure Chinese and still continues strong Chinese culture.

HIKING HILL BEHIND THE HOUSE FOR NET

If you read my previous post, you ll know there is zero net at this house. It was about 1 hour drive from the nearest town (if we plan to get better net from nearest town). But to get net I need to hike the hill behind the house which is not really high but still it was an adventure journey.

Since it was CNY celebration, all her sibling is coming home. So there gonna be a lot of kid. Since I don't want they to come with me hiking the hill, I spend about 1 hour to bring them go around the house and playing with them until they tired then I can hike the hill. It was funny that I become tired just to play with them. So much energy. Lolz

Just look how many of them calling me uncle Tom and playing around with me. And this is not all of them, there was still some in house.

THE DAY BEFORE CNY

As a culture which many of us know, everyone will clean the house a day before the Chinese New Year and throw everything they don't need. Because they is prohibit to clean house during the festival. They believe that during the festival luck is coming and cleaning the house is like throwing the luck staying at the family.

This is some decoration at home during this festival. Look how red and gold that lantern and other decoration.

To night, I ll playing again with the kid. I have bring some firecracker and I hope they love it. This gonna be beautiful memory for them and us while growing up.
