Choose Your (Art) Weapon... XD

I've been trying to practice digital art on my phone recently, and it has been quite fun. I've joined challenges here and there, and even did a collab with my Venezuelan friend here on HIVE.

However, about a week ago, I lost the universal pen with a rubber tip that I was using for my digital paintings. It's crazy how I suddenly lost it when I was just using it in my room almost the whole time. Luckily, I have an extra, but the rubber part is already almost torn. XD

Until now, I still couldn't find the one I lost... and my pair of scissors has gone missing, too. hahaha Where could they be? But anyway, there are times when we give up finding them, and they'd suddenly show up.

Yesterday, I got the rubber tip pens I ordered online to replace the missing one.

I got three new ones: white, black, and rose gold. The silver one is the extra I used after I lost the main one.

I'm choosing to use this white one since it's easier to find. All of them have a rubber tip, and this pen-like tip... but I prefer using the rubber part. It's more sensitive, so it's smoother to use.

They're actually pretty cheap at around $0.30 each, especially because I bought them during a sale... and getting a couple more items would make the shipping fee free, and I'd get a random gift.

These are two sets of gel pens, each with white, gold, and silver. I actually just needed the white one, but I guess gold and silver highlights would also be helpful... :) Anyway, each set costs even less than the stylus pen earlier.

And guess what I got for free? Yep!!! These cute notebooks! I actually got four of them, but I gave one to my Mama because the design was a cute toy poodle, and it looks like Arashi. :)

Each notebook has 16 pages... I like small, cute notebooks like these, so I'm happy to get them as freebies.

In total, I only paid a little under 2 USD. It was such a good deal, and the purchase would definitely help me with my art journey... both digital and traditional. :)

Also... Mama insisted on paying for them. Thanks again, Ma! Lablab~~~

Lost things really suddenly reappear when you give up looking for them. XD As I was getting my white pen to take a photo, I noticed something familiar... It's the lost rubber-tip pen!

I've checked this glass many times and even took out the pens inside it, but I never noticed it... and now, it's suddenly back! Ohh~ life's mystery! Have you ever experienced such a thing?

Anyway, I have more extra(s) now, so it's all good. I kept them safe in one of my art drawers. I'd still be using the white one for now, so please look forward to checking my digital art journey alongside my traditional ones. I'd probably make more of the latter for now since I got a lot of requests from Mama lined up. We'll see. haha
