The Ancient City of Ayutthaya: Located in the Northern part of Bangkok, Thailand

Welcome to Ayutthaya!

Have you ever heard about this place? It's an ancient city located north of Bangkok, Thailand. It is known for its spectacular temple ruins and historical significance.

When we included Ayutthaya in our itinerary, I was like, "Oh my gosh, this is too far, and it will take a whole day. Are you sure we're doing this?"
My friends were so eager, so we did.

From Bangkok, it took almost three hours to reach the destination. Upon arrival, I was completely amazed and couldn't hide my excitement as I roamed around the area.

I was speechless at its beauty—the impressive temple ruins, the vast open spaces, and the peaceful atmosphere. It felt like every corner had its own story to tell. Everywhere I looked, there was something worth capturing. All you need is a camera, a little patience, and maybe a touch of photography skills. Hehe.

What I loved most was how the place allowed me to slow down and simply appreciate history. Standing among centuries-old structures made me wonder how many generations had walked the same grounds before us. Despite the number of visitors, the area still felt calm and relaxing.

Ayutthaya is one of those places that photographs beautifully, but being there in person is a completely different experience. The scale of the ruins, the details of the ancient architecture, and the overall atmosphere are things that pictures cannot fully capture.

Looking back, I am glad my friends convinced me to join this trip. What I initially thought would be a long and tiring journey turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our Thailand adventure.

So if you're planning to visit Thailand, Ayutthaya must be on the list.
