Last week my husband got email from Guyana government that I can get interview for a visa to American embassy on 11.03.2024. For my two daughters still waiting. Itโs a long time ago we make the visas for go to USA, since we lived in Suriname. The first I heard from Justin I was a little bit excited but after I think about Guyana and making me stressed.
Guyana is very far from Cambodia, and itโs spent to much money for the flight, staying, language and the other things. Itโs difficult for me to go alone too. My husband has emails back to Guyana embassy for asked them for change my interview to Cambodia. We waited a few days and Phnom Penh embassy email us back. They said I can get interview in Phnom Penh embassy on 26.March.2024.
Now I feeling better more than I get interview in Guyana but I still worrying about the question interview and more things. I tried to searching on YouTube and I watched many videos for questions interview. My husband told me donโt worry about it too much, please believe on me itโs okay, we are a real relationship. But I canโt not control my feelings.
My husband says, we will go to America together and he prepared a lot of ideas when we arrived in American. He wants to take our cat go with us too.
I agree with him if making him happy but I just worry if it can not stay there because the weather are different.
My husband loves this cat so much, he always spends time with her every day and almost time. I love her too.
I donโt know what happened in Unite States but I hope my two daughters and I can get the visas and go to my husband country together soon. Because I want to meet my husbandโs family and his friends. I also want my two daughters get the American passport and they can go everywhere they want to go. For the Cambodian passport we are difficult to cross more countries. I never go to Unite States but I feel itโs difficult for me already but Iโll struggle for my family. Have a nice day everyone.
Well i wish you the best of luck on your interview. I hope they are nice to you and realize that your relationship is real. You may wish to tell Justin that it is very unlikely that you can bring the cat with you. I have tried to do this with my dog many times and the amount of paperwork that you have to complete and the blood tests and stuff that has to be done for the animal to be allowed into the USA is actually I think, more difficult than getting a visa for a human.
Oh really, thatโs so sad. Give Thanks ๐๐ป I really hope I get lucky with my two daughters to USA.
I hope you do too. As much as me and @justinparke complain about visas over here I fear it is far more difficult to get a USA one. I'll keep my fingers crossed but you are an intelligent lady, I'm sure you will charm the embassy officials immediately.
It's disturbing that the US government doesn't consider the wife and kids as a group when immigrating, especially so since the kids are minors. As the weeks and months tick by I am beginning to realize it's likely my wife may have to go alone to the USA, defeating the whole purpose of this thing.
The idiocracy is unbelievable, we only wanted to go for a month or two and visit family, and five years later it now appears she'll get her visa way before her daughters do/do not get theirs. She can only hold it for 6 months without going to the USA, so ironically our family vacation idea to the USA is probably just gonna be a logistical nightmare of family separations, 'Merica!
I am optimistic about the cat because I have a few American friends here that travel back and forth with their pets and know the right paperwork and whatnot to have. I was surprised to hear the US doesn't require a rabies vaccination, although they do require a negative test result prior to flight. I will try and remain positive, her interview is right around the corner, and I suspect there is a 20% she'll pass, but likely there will be a document problem because there always is.
Your journey sounds challenging, but your determination for your family is inspiring. Stay positive, prepare for the interview, and trust in your husband's support. I wish you success and happiness in the United States!
Give thanks my dear ๐๐ป๐โค๏ธ

My interview lasted less than five minutes with the US immigration officer. She was very calm and nice lady.
The questions will all be different, depending on your situation. Most importantly your husband can provide all the financial documents to support your travel.
Let me know if I am of any help with your prepping interview.
I understand why a lot of people want to come to this country, for so many reasons.
Although, I wish more Americans will travel outside their country. They'll appreciate more of what they have now. It's sad ๐ญ to see this world is sad for people who have so much expectations. World with Nature is more beautiful. โค๏ธ
Have fun on your Journey! I'll be following your STORY. โค๏ธ
