I bought a tie of of string beans the other day. Actually, I bought so much vegetable, three kinds of vegetables and I realized that too late. So, I didn't use the string beans and just used the two others. Thanks to that I have vegetable that I can cook today. But the next problem is the recipe I should make. I am really not sure so I search on google like this: "string beans recipe," I didn't get much result but sauteed string beans with garlic. It looks good but I want something with meat so instead of doing a research more I just go to the market with mama to buy chicken and oyster sauce. I'm craving for some chicken today and I want it with string beans

And so here's the string beans. I cut them into small size and soak them in water with salt. I still remember the string beans I soaked in salt water the last time I cook it, I got dead worm after soaking it for 5 minutes. Ewwyyyy! And actually, I do this in every vegetables we cook, just to be sure that no worms can be found in there

For the chicken, I bought the breast part. I just marinate it with salt and oyster sauce for a few minutes. While letting it rest on the side, I prepared the garlic and onion, I used bigger garlic because I am planning to use half of it for the toppings, inspired by the sauteed string beans with garlic that I found on google, hehe

Next is sauteeing the garlic and onion, please ignore the color of oil used in there because it is literally a used oil where I fried some chicken joy. Ehe. Its for flavor roo tou know, uwu. And yes, that's our roasted garlic right there. I can imagine it smell, yum, yum, I love it with roasted peanut. Now I want some of it.

Once the aromatic started to smell, I know it smells even though I can smell it, lolol -we'll then put the chicken meat which I just cut into cubes. A bite size. I also added a cup of water and simmer it for 12 minutes. This is also where I seasoned it with salt, pepper, lots of pepper actually, and some nom nom chu to make it taste better. I love that the oyster is a bit sweet so this taste really good -for me ┏(^0^)┛

After 12 minutes, I added the string beans. I actually added water in it because it is too dry already. I want my string beans soft and easy to chew so I cooked it for another 10 minutes, because Y not?

10 minutes later and its finally done! I sprinkled the roasted garlic that I set aside later and lookie, lookie. I wish we still have spring onion for the color. Sadly Mommy D's plant died or withered already, aigoooo

Of course, it won't be complete without taste testing it. We still have leftover rice from dinner so I put a spoonful of it in a small dipping bowl and top it with string beans and chicken. I can't say any more words but its GOOD! I think I did good on this recipe. It is a simple one but I cooked it with all my heart and soul, lol. I am so happy with how tasty it bevome.
