Wednesdaywalk - Unexpected Visit To The Red Sea

How I wished going to the sea of Jizan but I was too busy doing my job lately. Then one night my boss told me to get ready for our trip to the Red Sea of Jizan. I was excited bringing my dress to change if I could get into the sea water. I want to swim. But the new law and rules of the coast guard now is no one allowed to swim at night. My excitement was frustrated and sorry for myself. Instead of getting mad, I enjoyed taking picture around. So lets go share the night beauty of the sea.

The wave was so strong! Every time it kissed the shore, it created sounds and cold wind reaches my skin. So cool, if no one around me, I wanted to lie down on the sewage that covered the sand.

The Sea Water

It had been two years I never visited this place. I think, it was 2022 the last time I been there. During the pandemic, I insist going there sometimes.

This time, all have changes, the stones with a lot of sea shells were gone and the sea wall are all concreted now. A lot of changes and before even at night, we enjoyed swimming but now no more night swimming. I secretly soaked my foot and I just walked while the sea water reaches my legs above ankle. The coast guard were watching at me.

The Cottage

There were cottage for those who want to take their dinner or tea and coffee session. I waited a time they went away and I got in for my selfie though it's dark but I used my phone camera light to see my face.

I kept on holding my scarf , the wind removed it from my head. I felt shy, I forgot my face mask, the niqab. Black piece of cloth to cover my face.

The Ice Cream and Boiled Corn

There was a long line of people including children buying ice cream in a cold night and I was buying corn , I was so hungry. My boss was there only drinking coffee and tea with sweets. I told them that I wanted to buy corn and the youngest daughter wanted too.

The Park and Children Playground

On the other side there's a park for everyone who love sitting down on the ground watching their children playing in the park. A lot of playing device built there. No boring for the family but my boss don't lime crowded place. They chose the place a little distance from the center of the plaza.

All the above photography taken in the park but I was just taking it while I was on the street side. I had no cover ofy fave and a,lot of men there. I am just the only Filipina and I didn't find maid over there.

The place is a perfect place to unwind and take the fresh air sea breeze of the open sRed Sea from the other part of the horizon. I think , it's Sudan adjacent to Jizan Saudi Arabia while in the Eastern part is Yemen Sea.

This building near my workplace, it was build in 2003 and still standing without progress until 2022. This week I saw it is already fully furnished and loomed so awesome along the corner near the stop light

Before we went home, we stopped in the park here in Sabya and my boss bought friend chicken and dine out on the green grassy park. The park where I walked everyday. A lot of people at night. While in the morning there's few people walked.

The Cat

As I'd said before, wherever I go cats were always there to pleased me and I love it. He came to me and I gave chicken bones to stay. He calmed down stopped meowing.

That's my walk the other day , feeling better and a part of self-love. Having this kind of experienced helps my well-being. I forgot the pain and any happening to our life with my family.
