Wednesday Walk - Celebrating Saudi Arabia National Day
Happy 96th National Day of Saudi Arabia! My second home for almost three decades. I have my great respect to this country for giving me chance to work and having good employers. Despite the fact that there are another issues of abuse but thankfully, I am blessed with beautiful people around. They respect me of what I am because I follow the rules and regulations of the country. It gives me opportunity to earn what I never earn in my country. Yes, I am only a housekeeper but I also showed them my knowledge in everything. I became a tutor to their children and I shared my knowledge how to maintain health wellness. I also know how to massage that satisfied their body.
I started in 1998! A lot of ups and down. There were time, they had war with the Yemeni government and they won it for the Yemen people because it was the rebels of Yemen who governized the country. I am working in the border between Yemen and Saudi Arabia and my boss told me the story about it.
Now, the Houthi is attacking our workplace that is why Saudi Arabia intervene the war with Yemen new government against the rebels who are sending missiles lately to Saudi Arabia. They are targeted the oil facilities but thanks God, they have scud missiles interceptor that ruin the bomb in the sky before landing to the target. It is still dangerous because of the metal debris from the bombs. I am no longer afraid of whatever will be happening. If God allows me to live longer, it's His will even if I'm here or I will be in my country.
Well, as we celebrated the National Day, I am happy that they did the successful celebration everywhere in province and in big cities around. Happy to be a pat of the celebration.
The street are all decorated with flags every corner I found it. Stores have their flag hanging too. I saw in the news on the TV how the big city celebration did with parade of soldiers and military with their war stuff.
At night my friend invited me for the walk but I chose to sleep earlier. I got warning in my phone to keep away from public places. So I just stay for safety.
