🤳 Childhood Photos 📸
👨💻 Week #28 👩💻
[This is me]
Greetings to the Asean Hive Community. It has been awhile since I didn't participate in any contests on this community since I was caught up with some work recently. But the urge of this week's contest really tempts me.
[This Is Me and all my cousins]
I was born in the 70's. As a matter of fact, I just celebrated my 43rd birthday yesterday (15th October), but I guess most hivers are born in their 80's and so.
[Me and my favorite toys]
I just finished looking through an old photo album and realized that I spent most of my childhood with my family.I did have a great childhood, as I remembered. We were so close to each other before.
[Me and my families]
Music has had the most impact on me since I was a child. It made me feel so much that I couldn't contain all of my strong emotions. Music was a stream that foamed over me, leaving me speechless, sore, and blissful.
[My mother in Band as a Bass Player]
Our entire family was present, and we had many wonderful times that I knew would be remembered fondly. I really miss it some days. It was a more positive way of looking at the world. Everything appeared to be bright and happy, and even the smallest things brightened my day.
[Above Were All The Parties We Had]
Having those never-ending childhood memories. Even strange little things which bring back happy memories. Overall, the world appeared to be a happier place.
[My Cousins with the famous antique television]
My early years were marked by a lot of playing, outdoor activities, and access to natural light.
[My parents and I during holiday]
Kids these days don't play outside like they used to because they have phones, iPads, and a tonne of video games. This cultural shift definitely saddens me.
[This is Me who don't smile]
In short, I felt like I spent most of my childhood in dreams, visions, and air castles, happily roaming in trees of my dreams inhabited by illuminated beings invisible to the naked eye.
[Me and my brother]
[Me and My Cousin after School]
[Me and Our 1st Maid or Nanny]
[My Uncle And I with the famous antique Television]
There are more that I could share here, but I chose the one that stands out the most. I'm glad that my childhood has been captured in photographs because it allows me to see how my parents and my other family used to be. Memory will remain unchanged, as they said.
Old and gold with lot of memories to hold.
These old photos are priceless. Just try to picture yourself living with a black and white photo.
That is so uncommon these days. A photo album won't be remembered by our children and grandchildren given our technology.
May you have a lovely day, @amayphin . Thank you for your comment. 😊❤️🌹
Aww, too cute. Those Pictures really hodl a lot of memories. It will bring us to those important time in our lives. ☺️✨
Don't we all seem adorable and cute? @ruffatotmeee 😜😜😜
It may sound corny, but having a memento like an old photo is more valuable than anything.
Wow! you really had find your photo album and found all of these @mell79 . The first picture you shared is that you look like a little baby boy but that picture that you didn't smile really looks girl.
It is always fun to see old pictures. I really wanted to join this but unfortunately my childhood pictures was left into our mother and I don't have any here.
Anyway, its better late than never so allow me to greet you a happy birthday. May you will be blessed abundantly in all aspects of your life.
I know, right? They said our faces would change 7 times when we are still babies. As a mother of four kids, I agree with it.😊
I hope you can join the next challenge here. I know Asean Hive always gives the best topics to be written about.
I hope you have a great day, @jenthoughts
Yes, I noticed it too to my son. It really changes from a month to another.

A lot of memories... I like browsing in my family's old photos boxes, so interesting and entertaining to see some different times and habits they (we) had. Your mom with the bass guitar looks very cool 😎
It's been awhile since I looked into the old photo album.
I am glad this community gives out such great topic challenges to explore.
Yes, I have seldom seen a girl band in my life. Knowing my mother was in one, I am really proud of her.
Best wishes to you, @mipiano
And you are doing very well, we should all be proud of our mothers, for everything ( and also being in a band :)) )🎶
Greetings @mell79👋😇
These are so cute photos you have here🙌🙌 i don't have photos like this anymore especially in my toddler years but i remember we had the same hairstyle and it brings back memories☺☺ glad that you kept all your photos👍👍👍
I know the hairstyle was famous a long time ago.

Wow! Your mom was a bass player in a band, that's about as cool as it gets. The site of that massive tv with a tiny screen reminds me very much of the one my parents had when I was a kid. I can remember getting up to go and physically turn a massive knob to change the channels, long before the days of remotes, haha.
Your pics really make me nostalgic for the times before smartphones and video games. I myself don't get lost in these things nowadays, but I will never forget the first time I saw an ATARI game set, thought it was the coolest thing ever created.
Yes, I'm proud of her. But I suppose it runs in the family. I've been a member of a band for almost 20 years, but I don't play any instruments; instead, I sing. Since I was young, singing has been my main source of income.
I know, right? I remembered it too. And we only had a few channels available at the time. Now that the TV is still at my ancestor's house and broken, My uncle didn't throw it away, and he still kept it in the same place where it was.
I have to admit that I am dependent on my smartphone because I use it for both reading and my job.
However, not video games.
I do recall that my brother had a set of Ataris as well.
I had no interest in that. Even with Barbie or Teddy Bear, I never play. I guess I just don't like it.
