A Quick Visit at Golf Course and CarreTera for Dinner

Hello, everyone! I’m excited to be back and share my experience from yesterday. I decided to visit Camp Evangelista Golf Course, as I've never been to a golf course before.

The day was cloudy with a chance of rain; fortunately, it only sprinkled lightly and didn’t dampen the area. I arrived just before dusk. In the background, I could see a large, grassy driving range with trees in the distance. The weather felt gloomy but cool. When I got there, the place was bustling with people practicing their golf skills.

I noticed a young boy, a student, standing on a small turf mat preparing to hit a golf ball. Near him were several buckets filled with golf balls for easy access. What's great about this place is that if you dine there, you can play golf for free, or you can enjoy a round for as low as Php 50.

They offer a variety of food and drinks, including coffee, snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I didn't have time to try any of their offerings since my visit was just a quick sightseeing trip, but I definitely plan to return soon to grab a coffee, hit some golf balls, and have some fun!

Afterward, we headed to Carretera, which is just 3 minutes from the golf course, for dinner. I wanted something new that I hadn't tried before. This is a 24-hour restaurant that also offers live music every night. In this building they have three restaurants namely; Demetrio's, Backyard BBQ, and Dimsums Express.

They also have a board for customers to share and post their pizza experiences.

They were at the counter of Demetrio's to order, but the cashier informed them that to place an order, they needed to go to a table, find the QR code, and scan it using their phone. It serves as a digital menu.

Then we ordered Chizmozzas, Creamy Pistachio Macaroni, and Pillow puffs with caramel dip.

Chizmozzas - four pieces of mozzarella sticks, which are breaded and golden brown to perfection. Side with a marinara sauce a perfect fit.

Pillow puffs with caramel dip - a fried dough, very light and airy and the caramel is a perfect complement to their sweetness.

Creamy Pistachio Macaroni - a baked dish with plenty of pesto sauce. It's extremely creamy, and the top is golden brown and crispy. This is the most delicious dish I've ever tasted, and I can't get enough of it.

This is Filipino Ice cream a homemade ice cream. It has three flavors; avocado, chocolate, and mango.

This is also another food stall that you can choose from such as chicken, burger, and beer.

This venue hosts an open mic every night from 9 PM to 6 AM, Monday to Sunday. People come here each night to enjoy beer and watch the performances.

The space isn't very large, but it can comfortably accommodate a good number of people.

These are the best-selling burgers available at a fair price.

This is my first time at Carretera. At Demetrio's the foods are delicious and my verdict is that the foods are fair for the price. The ambiance is nice, but it's a bit smoky due to the grill, and when you step outside, you can smell like barbecue. Personally, I would consider ordering takeout or placing an order online.
