Red Cross Volunteer Competition

My daughter told me that she should participate in volunteer competition held by Red Cross. I motivated her to join and should not think about winning or not.

I took my daughter early in the morning to school. It was 5.30 a.m. She had to be ready to go. The competition was held in a state school, SMK 3 Bekasi. It was 30 minutes riding by motorcycle from my daughter's school.

The coach gave instruction before the team left for competition. There were about 10 students in a team. There were also some assistants who help the participants.

From the school, my daughter got a ride with her mate. I told to my daughter to send me message if the competition had finished.

My daughter told me that the competition would end in 9.00 p.m. It was a long competition I thought.

There were more than 10 schools participated in the event. All students practiced some first aid acts and other acts to help people in a disaster.
The announcement of the winning team was held in the evening. My daughter team did not win the competition. However, all students had great experience to be practiced in the future competition.

I waited the phone call from my daughter. It was 7.00 p.m. My daughter said that she would go home around 8.30 p.m. Then she sent me a message. She was on the way to her school.

I hurried up to her school. I waited her for a few minutes then she arrived with her team. She entered the school hall to get some briefing from the coach.
After a few minutes, she walked out from the school gate. Then,I picked her up and rode home.
She was very tired but she liked it. She had much experience on the competition.
