My 9 Years Best Friend: Cheerful and Brave Despite Fighting Alopecia Disease

Hello diligent hivers of this amazing aseanhive community. First of all I want to extend an appreciation to @justinparke for having this kind of challenge because through this I was able to highlight my friend, a very long time friend of mine. For this challenge #158 forever friends, I choose to feature my friend who has an alopecia and I chose her because she is a different kind of friend.

She is Jenny Rose Manaya, a woman with a very strong determination towards her goals in life despite her imbalance physical feature. This picture was taken during her graduation photoshoot. She graduated as an educator majoring in physical education. She has a condition that physically affects her confidence. She has an alopecia, she doesn't have real hair, eyebrows or all hair in different parts of the body.

We met each other way back 2017 when I transferred school during my senior high days from public to a private school where she studies. This is also my mother's alumni school that's why she wanted me to enroll here because this is a diocesan school and she thinks it can deeper my understanding about our religion. So here we met for the first time and I was curious why she had short hair because during our time long hair is very famous. And there I found out about her condition. I met her as a very fun and enjoyable person. She has a good humor and despite the difficulties we face during our senior days she keeps saying " We can do it"

She sometimes visit our house and she also met my parents many times. This picture is when I washed my pet which is a turtle and she is the one taking a picture and it was really fun because she likes turtle too.

We graduated in senior high school and I helped her in her thesis. I was very proud of her because among the 70 students she was rewarded by our teacher as the most diligent student that despite the challenges she managed to complete the tasks and graduated smoothly. I invited her in my graduation celebration too.

After graduation we still see each other. She often went to our house and also I visit her in their house maybe once a month. This picture was during my friends birthday and we are there because we support our circle of friends.

When I got my first child, she is one of the godmother because I like her qualities of being so patient and positive. We see each other sometimes so she can play with my daughter and also we see each other at the church and had some small talks before heading home.
Today we still communicate through messenger because we are very far away. What I love about her is that even though I'm busy and she is busy she still have time to check on me. What's the best thing I love about her is that she is a woman with so much goals in life and she is always positive in determination even if she knew it's impossible to achieve.
I chose her over a number of my friends or best friends because she is very different from others. I could say she is my forever best friend. She is one of my strength to look forward in life. She has special disease that hinders her to do things she like and that is my basis to be hardworking because I saw her how she is hardworking despite the imbalance. She always gave me positive words. She always advices me great opinions. I always wished for her good health because I knew she wanted to have long beautiful hair and kids. She always wear a wig and I think she is not comfortable with it but she has to. Today she is more determined on things and I hope she can get the job she wanted in life and praying for her recovery so she can slay like me. She is my forever friend.
