Simple Mondays, Nothing Fancy: A Simple Errand, Coffee And Waiting.

Yesterday, Monday, was my day off. How nice that 3 days off. I enjoy weekends and I always treasure it because it's our family time. Favorite days to relax, have fun and enjoy the moment.

An ordinary day, nothing grand nor special but reminded me how peaceful everyday moments can feel. Everyone was busy with their routines, kids at school and my husband at work. 🥰

Nothing special happened, yet I felt a sense of quiet joy and appreciation. I wanted to share at this moment what my everyday life is and its part of my simple day.

My morning started when I washed clothes and Aya prepared for school. She still has a cough and colds. And she doesn't like to stay at home and think of her presentation in Geography.

The morning started off quietly and the weather was cold. The weather now is unpredictable, I always check my weather app and wear clothes that are right for the day. On my kind of day, I had a small errand to do. A quick visit to the “Posta” or Post Office. It’s not a rush and still it’s my off I went outside to pick it up. Even though I wasn’t in a hurry and to make sure I didn't miss my bus, I prepared a little earlier than usual.

My bus stops in the Iža, katolícka fara and I need to walk to the Posta. The weather was just right and the walking was good and it felt more natural and refreshing.

When I arrived at the Posta, there were just 3 people and things moved faster than I expected. Within five minutes, it was a quick and smooth transaction. The lady staff handed me the envelope and it was from the health insurance. Just giving me an update that my former company pays for my insurance. A sense of relief that receiving that letter gave me reassurance that everything is ok.

Near Posta, there's a simple but elegant church named Kostol sv. Michala archanjela or Church of St. Michael the Archangel. The Baroque church was built in the 18th century and an earthquake happened they repair it. And after another earthquake happened until the foundation was not good, and many times it was repaired. The simple interior design and vibrant green steeple that stands out against the clear blue sky look like a canvas.

And my errand to Posta ended so quickly and I still have an hour to wait for my bus. On the street corner, there was a simple coffee and ice cream shop. So, I made good use of the extra time, had a cup of coffee and the day was wonderful. After all, I'm not in a rush. Just keep things slowly like a gift to myself. No worries at all, it's my day off.

I was the first to use the coffee machine and my experience was somehow personal. I ordered my cappuccino drink, simply sat and watched the vehicles passing by. Sipping my coffee and just taking my time. I was simply present that day and appreciating my off.

This might remind you of those quiet days in your own life is somehow feels comforting. Those simple routine of mine- a bus ride, Posta, a cup of coffee was ordinary moments but it's a story of my life and stay in my heart.
