Celebrating International Children’s Day With Dancing, Bonding And Free Ice Cream.

Hello Everyone! How's your first day of June? Hope everything is great. I will share my activity we did yesterday.

Yesterday, June 1, 2025 was International Children’s Day turned out to be the most memorable day that starts the month of June for our family.

Aya's Special Performance at the Amphitheater.

We prepared Aya for her big moment. She was part of a school dance group performing for the International Children’s Day celebration. Dressed in her red cargo pants, leotards inside and white shirt. And her hairstyle was ponytailed with white hair tie. No need to make up because it's summer here already and so hot.

Aya was all smiles and confidence was full blast.

We arrived at the amphitheater 30 minutes before it starts. But before going to the amphitheater, there was a flower garden and a bench. I asked her if I will take her snaps. And she said yes of course. Because she knows me I will asked too much photos of her. Saving memories for the future.

When it was their school dance group's turn to perform, my heart was so happy and proud of her. They danced gracefully, their routine with lively steps, happy smiles, and cheerful music which was Dynamite by BTS. The amphitheater was packed with supportive family, friends, school and other audience.

Especially for my daughter Aya, who proudly and confidently danced with her groupmates at the town's amphitheater. It's celebrating the joy, childhood and performance of kids. It's not just a performance, they will showcase their confidence to everyone. The activities started in the afternoon. The whole town had come alive with music, colors and different activities for the kids.

Us, proud parents took videos for our kids. The audience applause was loud and heartfelt. We could see the joy on our dearest Aya's face when she spotted us in the crowd, cheering her on. It was the best moment I'll never forget.

Strolling Through the Festivities.

After the performance, we went to the town center. There are lots of activities for kids. Most of the children's day activities were set up. There are face paints, volleyball, basketball, Ping-Pong, exercise and more. We joined the crowd and we want Aya to enjoy and celebrate with other kids. She saw her friends and they went to different activities. My husband and I are waiting for her on the bench.

My husband sat down and I took snapshots around the town. Our town transformed into a playground and on the playground side there are lots of people too.

Everywhere we looked, there were happy kids and it's really summer and it's soaking hot around.

It was so heartwarming about seeing not just the children enjoying themselves, but the adults too. Parents were engaged in taking photos, cheering their kids, and even joining games too. There was unity, shared joy in the community and being outdoors together.

Free Ice Cream? Yes, But For Kids Only.

One of the highlights in the afternoon and kids will love its was the free ice cream. Yes, kids have one scoop. All ice cream shops there do the same. Free treats for kids. And I want ice cream too and I need to pay.

It was a long but cheerful line at the ice cream shop happy to serve us.
Lots of flavors to choose from. And yummmy ice cream for our first summer day.

And we went to our favorite classic chocolate. We were happily eating our ice cream and have some snaps. My husband was chatting with his friends. And we take time to enjoy watching the happy faces of kids.

It may sound like a simple thing, but the simple joy of ice cream on a summer day feels truly special. It's a good thing that it was offered free to all kids in celebration of their day showing how much the community cared.

Grateful for The Moments.

By the end of the day, we were all pleasantly tired but more of it was so much happy memories in my family and others too.

That days like this mean so much for us. Watching our Aya perform, play, laugh, and experience the world and wonder what privilege she has. I was grateful for everything, not just because it's summer already and the ice cream. But for the opportunity to celebrate my child and all children in a full of love and fun.

The event of International Children’s Day reminded me that childhood is not just about growing. —it's all about living fully in the moment. In any activities whether through dance, games, or something as simple as a scoop of ice cream. That day gave us all other memories for Aha and our family. A reason to pause, smile, and celebrate being young.
