We've thought about it, but at the same time my hands are already full, plus my wife suffers from chronic fatigue, leaving me already doing much more share of the work than I should. My wife was raised without an involved parent because of the genocide problems, and this also has left her unable to be an involved parent, making education, mental health, offering advice, and other things like this my responsibility.
I feel so sorry for Mey-Yii, she deserves more from life, but at the same time I feel powerless to offer her more support than I already am, currently burning the candle at both ends for over 3 years.

Is there anywhere else she could go for help? It sounds like you are doing plenty for now, but obviously you can't pay for her college, etc.
Oh, on something off topic, I might have a few ideas about the plastic bag problem, will get links soon :)
