RE: Cincinnati Chili For The Family ๐Ÿ & A Few Proverbs For This Week's ASEAN Hive Community Challenge ๐Ÿง

We didn't plan on it, but when I reflect back on each week, I usually realize that Mey-Yii has slept at our house more often than not. I would love to hear some Aussie proverbs, not sure if I already know any or not, but let me try to make one up now.......

A kangaroo with an esky in the avo is not stopped by a rabbit proof fence.

Does it work? I maxed out my OZ vocab in that one ๐Ÿคฃ

You guys are "true blue" looking after that little girl.
"Fair crack of the whip" which is also "give a bloke a break mate" or "Fair shake of the sauce bottle" all meaning give someone a chance. "A squeaky wheel gets the oil" meaning he who complains the loudest gets the attention. Hope that broadens your Aussie vocabulary ๐Ÿ˜‰
