Dear fellow comrades, proletariats, laborers, patriots, and occasional kitty lovers, I would like to introduce you to "ChairWoman Meow," supreme leader of Steung Kach, Cambodia.
Move Over Mao ๐ผ Meow Is Here
ย ย ย The star of our house for over a week has been our new kitty friend, of whom has chosen me as best cat cuddler. We have a bit of a morning routine now where she sleeps on my lap for several hours in the morning while I do Hive work and drink my morning coffee. It was only recently that I decided kitty needs to have a name if she's going to be a longterm part of our family.
ย ย ย I'm kind of good with nicknames, that is Sakana became Monkey-B and her Srey-Yuu became Sreybledore, so I knew kitty would need a very special nickname to fit in with this crew. I chose the name ChairWoman Meow as a play on one of Mao Tse-Tung's monikers, "Chairman Mao." Kitty likes my chair even when I'm not in it and she controls us like a dictator, and we're in Asia, so ChairWoman Meow it is.
Easy On The Veganism ChairWoman Meow ๐ฝ
ย ย ย From the very first day ChairWoman Meow started hanging out with us I told her that this was a vegan household. She didn't seem to mind, and after a few days brought me a dead mouse to prove that she can source prey protein when/if necessary. After explaining to her that I'd prefer she keep her kills outside the house, she agreed to eat only vegan inside our house from now on out. After that she ferociously attacked an ear of corn and picked it clean, guess she wasn't kidding.

ย ย ย Every now and then I give Srey-Yuu a good scare. On this day the timing was right, I was recording, and I managed to capture the frightening. We all hide and scare each other quite often, so don't judge me, I got payback coming.

Hahaha, ChairWoman Meow is a cutie, lol, but she can be a chair stealer too (โงโฝโฆ), literally, lol. Having a cat at home, you're in for a hell of adventure with their high spirited behavior, let's include the mischief act that you'll experience later. But still because they are cute you will just ignore it because that's how they can manipulate us, using theit cuteness เธ ^โข๏ปโข^เธ

Chairman Meow sounds like a really cool name. He must like you so much that he brings gifts to your place. I remember there was a cat outside our house who left a huge dead rat infront of our door.

Love the name you gave to this kittie! Although I liked Meow Tze Tung too.
Just be careful that she doesn't start liking vegan food so much that she stops taking care of pest inside your house ;<)
That and many people have killed their beloved pets by putting them on vegan diets. Those big sharp teeth aren't plant munchers for a reason. They don't have the stomachs and gut flora to pull nutrients out of vegetation like omnivores and herbivores.
I definitely know she should be a hunter, and we're not keeping her captive. She's got plenty of fish and meat to eat next door at her former home, but for some reason she won't leave us. I've tried to tell her we have only vegan food, but she won't leave. On a serious note though, we only give her nibbles of our human food and try to keep her hungry. There's no doubt she can hunt, and she's proven that by delivering me lots of her kills. As long as she's getting some kills I'm sure she'll be healthy.

I know I've heard "Meow Tse-Tung" somewhere before, perhaps a movie. "ChairWoman Meow" though, gonna stake my claim to that one. The ChairWoman just had some fish upstairs at the meat kitchen, but now she's down here for spicy potato chips and mung bean paste.
