Thank God, It's Friday!

It's Friday again, which means we can finally relax tomorrow because it's Saturday! And guess what? It's a long weekend for us since there's no work on Monday. What a nice way to welcome the weekend!

As part of our Friday routine, we always visit the Basilica del Santo Niño after work. But before heading inside the church, we make sure to stop by our favorite street food stalls for some delicious Kwek-Kwek, Tempura, grapes and lanzones.

We eat first because we know there will be lots of people at the Basilica. We usually have to stand throughout the Mass, so it's better to fill our stomachs before attending.

Every Friday, we offer prayers and attend Holy Mass. There's something truly special about attending Mass. It gives us peace and reminds us to be grateful that we made it through another week.

After the Mass, we also light candles before leaving the church as a way of offering our prayers and expressing our devotion.

One thing I always remind myself is that we should never forget to thank God. We should not visit the church or attend Mass only when we're facing problems or asking for favors.

Let us also make time to visit Him simply because we are thankful for His guidance, protection, and countless blessings.

Prayer is not only about asking for something; it's also about having a grateful heart.
