Weekend Reset: Beach, Pizza and Karaoke

Hello! It's me again! Today I am going to share with you what I did for the weekend. As always, moms are the busiest in the household. For working moms like me, the stress is never ending. But as long as our family is healthy and happy, it will compensate the exhaustion. Now that I am back to work, I would make it a point that I will have routine with the chores so I wont get tired.

When I was in my youth, I would wake up like around 8 or 9 o'clock in the morning.. But the times have changed.. Sometimes I am already awake at around 4AM and I can never go back to sleep. I guess it's because it is our body clock tells us to get ready in the morning. Or maybe I am really getting old.. Perhaps this is what it feels like when we are in our 40's.

I can't begin my day without a cup of coffee..I am a coffee lover by the way. But i don't like it when its ice cold. And I think most of you can relate after drinking ice cold coffee haha..It will just ruin our day..

I live in a coastal area, so beach therapy is within my reach. However, I am too lazy to walk around the beach so I seldom step foot on it. My kids and my husband often take a dip while waiting for a fresh catch.

But this time, my husband I decided to go for a stroll. Together with my dog Choco, who loves to tag along with me. She enjoys the beach but not the water. Fishing boats didn't arrive yet. Luckily a neighbor gave us their catch for free. The island that you see in the picture is Negros. We are just facing across Mt. Kanlaon. So when it spewed ashes, we can see it right from here.

When we get back home, I checked if there are new eggs in my backyard. And yes, there was!These were tiny eggs from my bantam chicken.

If you're asking if my chickens are safe from my dog..Yes they are. Choco won't bite them. They were friends. But the chickens would steal her food anyway.

The best time for weekend is having pizza.. We are a family of 5 including my dog who also loves to eat pizza. During pandemic, food delivery had become our most reliable service. They have become the trend since then. I could even ask them to buy me cooking oil in the market.. I often use food delivery service since then..Especially on weekends because I am too lazy to cook and just put myself to a relax mode..

And what's the best activity during weekends????Yeah I heard you right!Karaoke..And karaoke is best paired with Red Horse-the all time favorite for Filipinos.. If you don't know how to sing?Just take a glass of Red Horse, and then you can hit the note!!
