My Great Day at The Farm

My Banana plants is located at the middle of vast and wide coconut trees that is why I also be abled to visit it. By next Month, we will harvested those coconuts and expected to have lots of coconuts to sell. This is one of our primary source of income and it helps us a lot here. I noticed during my Farm visit that all of the coconuts trees are produced lots coconuts to harvest. Aside of that, I also gathered those fallen coconuts in one place so it can be easily hauled using a cart from one place to another.

Every morning, this is what I always do. To gathered lots of coconuts and put in one place, gladly as many days I always did I gathered lots of it and it will be included to sell by next Month. I counted those fallen coconuts I gathered and Gladly I got almost Hundreds of it. I also separated those coconut that already contains young sprouts so that we can planted it here.

We also planted almost fifty young coconuts and it also grows well stabled. My Father was decided to plant this so it can replaced those old coconut trees. As for that, we always keep guarding and monitored to see if there are animals reaching the place like Cows, Goats and Carabaos. This is one of our major problems here, because they eat the plants. We also applied organic fertilizers like Saw-dust and animal manure.

Some of our Fruit trees are well constructed with tree guard. It helps to keep from animals like cows but we only constructed those valuable and expensive fruit trees. We planted this last year and it also produced lots of young leaves and small branches. Aside of it, we also have fruit trees that is called Manggosteen but it is still not produced fruits until today.

After that, I started to do placing the coconut palm so that it can easily dry and can be abled to use it into firewoods. First I tied this long piece of bamboo using a strong rope on each coconut trees after that I carefully placed those palm in right positions. My Plan for this is to cut into equal length and sell to the Market by Sunday.

At The Garden:

After visiting the Farm, I proceed to went at my Simple Garden near at the river. I was very sad last year because it was hit by a flood and some of my vegetables are washed away. But luckily there are few vegetables left and producing lots of vines. There are lots of young leaves grows and good to harvest.

This are my Crop called, Lutya and it is not yet ready to harvest. As for that I decided to cleaned and removed those wild grass near at the crops so it will grows very healthy. Cutting those dry leaves helps to produce big bulbs or crops and that is the perfet way to produced it.

This are also my Cassava crops and gladly we already harvested some of it last day. Even if it was struck by the great flood but still it does not washed away and still grows even if it was leaning to the ground.
