Festival Celebration in Barangay Punta Silum
Each road side of the place are already contains lots of colorful flaglettes and it is supported with this bamboos as flag pole. This is what they always did every fiesta celebration. Barangay Punta Silum consists of 6 Zones and each Zones are designated to put lots of flags on each place and also different colors on each Zone. Zone 6 flag colors are blue and almost 300 flags are put on each side of the road. It keeps the place very colorful and attractive. Aside of that, lots of decorations in the Church are also put and well prepared for the Great celebration of the Barangay. This will be very exciting, aside of the activities lots of cheap materials sell near at the Barangay Hall and some events.
Early in the Morning, when the first activities happens and this was the morning Jog to all residents. All of the residents or those people who visited the place can be abled to join the said jogging activities. It was really quite a long way to perform jogging and there many residents who joined and perform the activities. The finished line is here at Zone 6 and it will be a great challenge to all those who participated the activities.
To keep those who participated the activity safe from lots of vehicles who passing by the road, there are traffic personels who guided and assisted the runners lead in the right path and also the vehicles to avoid any road accidents. The medical team and their ambulance are also ready on the place in case if there are some problems. It was exactly 6 in the Morning when the runners arrived at Zone 6 and the Local Government Personel also joined the activities. This is not a contest and only supported with the Said festival activities.
The Processions of the Saint:
Moment later, A great Procession of Saint happens and there are lots of church goers and devotees attended the Procession. Traffic personels did their best to do their parts by assisting the vehicles and managing the vehicle build up because of the Procession. This what they always did every fiesta in the place. While walking along the road, they also did a prayer and sing Gospel songs. There are also lots of children attended the Procession and they are very happy walking at the road.
This colorful costumes of street dancers also joined the procession and this dancers are already won during street dancing competition in Barangay Poblacion Manticao. They wore this colorful and fascinating street dancing costumes and it is very attractive. The King and Queen brought their Saints and waving to the air.
Next is the group of Drummers who played festive musics. They've bring lots of drums, xylophones, liars. I really amazed of their efforts and also good performance. I was felt very happy about the processions and also the Processions of the Saints and I really felt very blessed about it.
