When You Saw a Familiar Face Outside the Taxi You Were Riding and That Person Actually Needs A Ride so Timely

Who would have thought that at the middle of a heavy traffic I will see a familiar person way back in high school days. At first, I thought it was not her at all but when I kept on glancing to her beauty I felt that she was really familiar and then I realized that it was really her when our eyes met and gazed at each other, it was confirmed when I waved at her first then she affirmatively responded and so it was really her my classmate in third year high school a long time no see friend of mine after she left the school we went together after the first grading period in fourth year level. We parted ways and had no communication because social media was not yet a trend that time as well as internet connection so we were not able to keep in touch.

When we waved at each other she came near the taxi I was riding and requested me to hop in with her mom and told me that they actually waited for so long and got tired of getting a ride, and she felt so lucky that I accommodated her and her mother as they cannot get a ride while people were flooding the streets from a huge mall where their graduation rites was held. She was one of the graduate of that event that flocked people outside the mall after the graduation ceremony. We were stuck in that heavy traffic and she was really glad that we glanced at each other unexpectedly while I was having a ride and them while waiting for a ride.

That made us have a quick catching up and I am really proud of her that she finished her bachelor's degree, she majored in early childhood education. I also greeted her mom and asked about her other daughter younger than my classmate.

Her mom must be really proud of her. Actually her entire family must be really proud of her that she fought a good fight even if she is already a single mom with 3 children all under her care.

She was actually one of our mother majorette in our drum and lyre club, I was one of the band musician while she was our band mother majorette and I can never forget how she lead dancing gracefully, it was one of our core memories in high school and we were even awarded for being active with that organization and we had tuition fee discount as member of the band.

The nostalgia it brings when we talked about our high school memories. I am happy for her that she is resilient and her family is very supportive of her.

I wish her all the best in her teaching career and the new chapter of her life.
