When the Airport Suddenly became your Home in a Few Days and Met New Friends that you can call Soul Siblings

Who would have thought that I will find new friends from different parts of the world at the airport.

For the first time in my life I was stuck at the airport for a few days. I had fun anyway though I felt anxious at first but later on when I became friends with the lady guard who was very accommodating, friendly and warm, I suddenly felt that the airport can be my home too. Such a weird feeling but I felt that way a little bit when I missed my evening flight because of the very heavy traffic going to terminal 3, I felt really terrible at first as I spent 2,800 plus Philippine money for that ticket.

When I learned about the situation of this young gentleman, I suddenly realized that I might have missed my flight to help a foreigner solve his problem. What happened to him was more terrible than my own situation when I compared his problem to mine.

While I was sitting somewhere in the airport to find the cheapest flight going home using my laptop, this guy suddenly find a place to sleep on the very corner where he thought no one could disturb him while his asleep. I find him weird at first as he felt comfortable laying his bags on the floor and slept on top of it with his blanket covered his body and face, he even snored. While I was searching for the cheapest flight from a different airline as I don't want to rebook a flight from the airline who left me and I felt so embarrassed that it happened. The guy awakened and I asked him if he's okay as I noticed that he was not. Then without hesitations he shared that we was offloaded by the same airline that I missed the flight. I was thinking of a way on how to help him, he also asked why I stayed on that corner and told him that we were on the same situation but the only difference was that he's situation was more complicated than mine. The airline was looking for a visa from him where in fact it was unnecessary because he's from the European Union, in short he was wrongly offloaded such unjust situations usually happens to foreigners who cannot defend themselves properly. What amazed me the most to this guy was that he knows how to speak my dialect so it even moved me to find a way to help him out of his complicated situation. Fortunately, we became friends with the lady guard who also speaks the same dialect that this French speaking guy could speak. I introduced him to her that he can speak our dialect and that connection led him to meet the airline supervisor who can manage to resolve his concern, thanks to the Cebuana Lady Guard who is very reliable and helpful.

I'm glad that I was able to help this brother who was in need of helping hands to solve his situation. He was grateful when he thought he was loosing hope and would face a more complicated situation to extend his Philippine visa to wait until the 20th this month as he missed his flight because of a very lame reason that should not be a problem in the beginning, he felt traumatized until we came to rescue him on that awful situation. He rebooked a flight to the destination he should have not missed the flight instead of flying on the 20th it was moved earlier on that day he missed it. He saved from all the complications of renewing Philippine visa that he never planned to do and expenses for the days he will stay just to wait the 20th plus all the rebooking of his connecting flight all of that was the burden he was rescued from because we intervened, so maybe I missed my flight because I need to help him.

He almost lost all hope and regret that he visited the Philippines, fortunately I was there to help and the Lady Guard wad there to rescue him.
