She is a woman of strength and she has been my greatest inspiration. She speaks loving and life giving words but also brutally honest when truth is necessary to be spoken to. No matter what life throws at her, she still keeps her head up high. Words cannot express how much I appreciate her and I'm so grateful to have her in my life.

My childhood before bedtime little stories and laughter😍

As a single mom, she strived to give us the life she didn't have as a child. She took on both the role of a father and a mother, and I never felt like I lacked anything. She gave up her work as a Head English Teacher to foreign students to be a full-time mom. She is always present in school events, tournaments, awarding, outings, and other. She endures lengthy time of waiting in my training, patiently battles heavy traffic driving back and forth, and lovingly packs hearty meals day by day. She wakes up the earliest in order to support us no matter what. Heartily nurtures me and my brother, inch by inch.

When I was one of the representatives for Ms. Intramurals, she was the one who stayed backstage with me to help with make-up, outfit changing, and the last-minute coaching. Fast forward, I won Ms. Intramurals! I ran to her saying "Mommy, I won!" and I see her just sitting there and smiling softly. I hugged her and I could tell she knew I'd win the second I step foot onstage. It was one of the best moments in my life. It seemed she had so much faith in me, and I performed well knowing she got my back.

As long as I have the willingness to act diligently and accordingly, I always have her all out support. When I had my JS Prom, she lovingly guided me in choosing the right gown and personally attended to my hair and make-up down to my well polished nails. That night was also one of my biggest night of confidence and elegance, enjoying comfort and fashion. And because of that outpouring love of hers, I won the title of being the Prom Queen that also made her joyful with misty eyes. I could feel her happiness over my triumph.

She always pushes me to do my best in everything I do, to try new things and explore. Without her constant nagging, I wouldn't be able to reach most of the things I achieved so far. I'm grateful that she pushed me to continue Table Tennis. I have been to many places she hadn't been to, met new people, learned a lot of valuable lessons, and had so much memories that I dearly cherish. It is all thanks to her.

Each family or household is far from being perfect, and so does ours. We may have disagreements with one another but we always make up by the end of the day. She always understands whenever I'm not in the mood to do anything, but makes sure that I cut it out when my attitude is getting out of place. One of my motivations to keep going is to make my mom prouder. She has a dream of traveling to countries she hadn't been to and it's a dream of mine to take her wherever she wants to go. She deserves everything this world has to offer and she's so much stronger than any person I know. She always puts us first and I'm so blessed to have a mom like her. I often brag to my friends about how awesome and beautiful she is inside and out.
