The Force of Nature: The Destruction of Tropical Depression Basyang Hit Our Place

As we arrived there riding on a motorcyle, the place where we always passing by was isolated and covered with thick mud and sands. But we find some ways so we can still crossed here so we can reach the farm without walking too long. Those people from the other side of the cliff cannot also pass and they also find some ways to crossed the river. The water was still very high and slightly deep and aside of that, a strong water current flows down. Few trash was till floating to the water and a big damages of the land by collapsing big chunks of soil and completely washed away by water. Lots of trees grows at the cliff was also flooded away and faded on its positions covering with trash. We carefully walked and crossed the river very slowly so we can avoided deep and shallow parts and after a few minutes we finally crossed on the other side of the cliff.

As we arrived at the Farm, I hurriedly went to my Simple garden near at the river and this is what I've seen there. All of my vegetables and crops washed away and lots of branches and trash covered the entire place. My big banana plants are also washed away and big chunks of soil collapsing. The entire place was already covered with mud and the only thing I did was to gathered few crops burried at the sand. It was really totally a catastrophic situations I faced and do garden again. Our young coconut plants was also washed away and those trees grows near at my Garden.

After almost an hour at the Garden, I proceed to went at the second shortcut area near at the hill and as we arrived there I was very shocked of what I've seen. This place here was once a dry land but now it was completely collapsed and difficult to pass by. This big bamboo tree is already near at the river and have a chance to collapse when the soil still eroded. The big flood happens here last day brings a lot of destructions here in our place.

This big whole tree was stranded here at the cliff and it is imposible to removed. It was washed away from the Mountainous places and ended here. The force of Nature really strong and washed away anything on its path. I felt worried about it because when there is a flood happens again this place here will possibly collapsing because of the water current rounded in this big whole tree. But our plan for this is to cut manually and slowly removed those branches and roots so it will lighted and easily float when there is a flood again.

Some lf the bamboo trees was already submerged in the fresh water and some cliffs are contains a big cracks that will collapse anytime. The tropical depression brings a lot of damages here but we are still full of hope to start all over again. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
