My First Time Visit at Our Farm at Mount Talabaan

Exactly 8 in the morning when we started to travel riding on a motorcycle and it takes almost Three hours of traveling. We only decided to spent hald day at the farm that is why reaching to the place on time is better.

Our farm is located at the mountainous part of Manticao and we called it Mount Talabaan. It is really far from urbaned place and the only thing can be seen here are lots of Mountains and tall trees. The road trail here is also very small and only motorcycles can be pass by here. But because of the slippery road, we decided to walk going to the place. Luckily the weather was very cool and calm. From the top of the mountain is the great overlooking views where fogs and nearby mountains can be seen and found. Wild animals like birds can also be seen and found here and a rocky road trail that makes me feel more adventorous.

This place is also far from Provincial road and only few Farms and gardens can be seen and found here. I really felt excited and enjoyable the time when I visited our farm. Swaying leaves from the trees and grass can be seen here and few agricultural plants like Corns, Fruit trees and manggoes. Most of the trees grows here are Molave, mahogany and Talisay tree. It can give the place a cool and relaxing areas perfect to rest for a minute.

Lots of ferns are also grows here at the farm and this place is not yet properly cleaned. Our plans here is to plant lots of young banana plants. Aside of that, young coconuts also be planted here and few kinds of rootcrops. The place where we planted our corn is already well cleaned ready to plant corns. As we arrived at the farm, we started to checked those fruittress and some small plants that my Parents planted last year. We started to cut those wild plants so the place will becomed clean before planting those crops and fruit trees we brought here.

This portion here is where we planted the corns. My Family doing their courage and hard works to clean the field so they can started to plant the corn grains. After a few days of cultivating, finally the area is ready to plant corn grains. We hired few people to cultivate the land and they did their best to clean the field. Planting corn plants is very perfect here because of the fertile soil and aside of that we do not used synthetic fertilizers. Its been 11 in the morning when still at the place, busying planting young cacao plants. After that we decided to went back home so we can eat our Lunch. By next day, we will back to the farm again bringing agricultural young plants to make the areas more productive. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
