My Daily Life Post: "Visiting Our Lot For Plant Checking, Coconut and Firewood Gathering"
As we arrived there, the first thing I did was to explored around looking for any coconuts. Other coconuts we put in one place last Month was now grown with young sprouts. Some of it are already dried but still useful, as for that I separated those coconuts that contains young sprouts so we can be abled to plant it by next Month.
Exploring this is area is very fun and relaxing in fact everytime when I visited here, I felt very relaxing because of the tall and big trees grows. Aside of that, wild animals like Birds also perching at the branch of the tree and the dry branches comes from this tree is perfect for firewood porpuses. Most of the trees can be seen and found here are molave trees and we did not cut this trees down so the place will have a shady views. This big molave tree was planted by my Grandma and now it grows wider and taller. It almost cover the some parts of the place and everytime when we visited here, We really want to take a rest here.
After gathering and looking for a coconuts, the next thing I did was to looked for any dry coconut palm use for firewoods. It is not quite hard to search lots of firewoods because there are lots of it scattered at the ground. Gladly I brought my Sharp bolo, I can easily cut and removed those coconut leaves and cut those dry branches. I went to the place where Coconut trees planted and looked for any dry firewoods to collect. Aside of that, I also checked those small manggoe plants, Banana plants and some parts of the area where we can planted our valuable crops, but as I checked the place it really needs To clean and cut the wildgrass.
As I finished gathering those dry branches and coconut palm, I started to cut it into two pieces and placed at the empty sack so I can carried lots of it when we went back home. It takes almost an hour of cutting those dry branches into two pieces and I carefully cut those thing. We don't used electric stove that is why using firewoods is very important. We also have few young banana plants here and it already grows stable. Everytime we visited here, cutting those dry banana leaves is what we always do. Aside of that, those young banana sprouts will be replanted to other areas so it can propegate lots of bananas. We are very confident to plant young bananas without using or building tree guard because there are no farm animals here unlike at the Farm.
This grafted manggo trees are also planted here in fact it already produced lots of manggo fruits last year. I felt very sad because some of it are already dried because of the intense heat and do not have a chance to survived it even if I watered it daily. But despite of the problems I had, There are still lots of it grows and stabled and produced lots of fruits.
Lots of trees are truly expected here because many wild animals lives here just like birds. While Im still at the middle of explorations, I noticed this very unique small nests hanged on the tree branches. I am very amazed of what I've seen and I let it hang there.
