My Daily Life Post: "Community Service Here in Our Barangay and My Simple Birthday Celebration"

As I arrived there, lots of people has also arrive at the place bringing cleaning tools like broomsticks, dust pan and sharp tools used to cut wild plants and branches. There are also residents went there without bringing anything but they borrow broomsticks to their friends. While doing the tasks, taking picture is one of the most important here for documentary and thats what the Local Government said. Taking pictures while cleaning the place is a must so Local Officials can see how unity we are by doing the tasks. It was perfect for us to do the job because it was still cold and the intense heat from the sun was not yet feel since it was still 8 in the morning.

The Local Government said that the trash or garbage should be in proper disposal that is why we decided to do proper segregation. We separated the plastic materials from bottles and the dry leaves are burned out so mosquitoes will flew away. The teens was also voluntarily help cleaning the place and they are very responsible by doing the job. They cut those wild grass and branches of the tree that can create obstruction in the road. We create lots of smokes on each side of the road and we carefully removed the plastics so it wont be burned also.

After community service, our Purok leader told us to do weekly meeting and also writing the names in the attendance sheets. At the meeting we tackled important agendas like Curfew, Money auditing and any important concerns that can help in our community. It takes few hours before we finally arrived backed home.

It's My Birthday Today:

Today I also celebrated my 28th Birthday but I did not celebrated with lots of foods. The important is I have a healthy body always including my Family, that is the best wish for my birthday. As for that, I decided to brought fried chicken feet because it is very cheap. Eating fried chicken feet is one of my favorite added with this spicy soy sauce. I brought this for 20 Pesos and luckily I seen this at the place where we do community service. It was 7 in the evening when I started to placed this simple but delicious food at the table.

I also brought pack of Lumpia Shanghai because this is also my favorite food to eat. Each pack contains 12 pieces of delicious lumpia shanghai but I ate the other one. I started to cooked the food for our dinner with family at exactly 7 in the evening. Each pack of Lumpia shanghai costs up to 35 Pesos each, all of the food I brought for my birthday are very cheap so I can do budgeting.

I also peeled this delicious and very juicy pineapple fruits. I gladly harvested it from my simple garden and I add this in the center table for my birthday celebration. I am blessed that even if I have no money, I can still brought cheap food because of few coins I kept for many days. After eating our dinner together with my Family, we also do our tradition by praying Novena.
