Celebrating our New Years Eve and First Day Of Year 2026

Gladly the stores we went was not yet full of costumers since we went there 8 in the morning. After buying the needs for new years eve, we hurriedly went back home and started to cook some foods and snacks.

The Items we Brought During our Grocery Activities:

My Mother wants to cook sphagetti and we brought those ingredients for the dish. Each dish cost lots of ingredients just like Pasta, tomato Sauce, Cheese, Corned beef, hotdogs, and evaporated milk and since the products are expensives, we spend almost 600 Pesos just for this dish. But it is only once a year so we grabbed this once a year oppurtunity to have snacks at New Year eve.

We also brought Ingredients for Macaroni Salad, I really like to eat this kind of snacks. My Mother also spend almost 500 Pesos for this ingredients like macaroni Pasta, Mayonise, condense milk, evaporated milk, a can of fruitcocktail and cheese. A Kilo of Macaroni pasta is fit for 6 people here and it is already lot, we carefully checked the list and the items we brought to see if there is no items forgot to buy.

We also brought A piece of chiffon cake, my don't have plans to buy cake but her friend offered it and she let give to my Mother even if ot will be payed for a month. I really amazed of the cake because it has a groove on it where it can be sliced and a plain cover designed with Happy New Year Greetings.

Sliced bread a pieces of choco milk are also perfect for the cold New Years eve that is why we brought it also. I carefully choosed those best and dry bread so it wont spoiled for many days and a dozen of choco milk. Slice bread, Sphagetti or Mayonise are perfect snack.

My Mother also wants to cook Biko, and she brought a Kilo of glutine rice this kind of snacks has a belief on it on how sticky the Biko is, also the Blessings will stick also. Well, we adopted it from our GrandParents and accepted the beliefs.

For our Food for dinner, we decided to brought a Kilo of telapia Fish and fried it. Its been a long time since I did not eat telapia fish and this kind size of fish is truly fit for one person. I really satisfied on how big the fish it is and it cost 250 Pesos Per kilo. It is not quite expensive because some of the vendors sells for 450 Pesos Per Kilo. Gladly the fish are cleaned and ready to marinated before frying it.

As the New Years eve finally came, and loud fire crackers and horn of vehicles can be heard. We felt the excitement the new Year and its been 2 in the morning on January first we slept. 5 in the morning today, we prepared the left-over food because we want to travel going to Anak-Zuling Resort.

At The Anak-Zuling Resort:

While my Family prepared the things we brought, my Mother told me to went at the resort and asked how much is the entrance fee. As for that, my Brother and I started to travel going to the place and asked the entrance fee, as my Mother satisfied the fees we proceed at the place. Its been few years since I backed visited the place and it contains lots of changes. This place here was once a grassy land but now it is already constructed with this concrete house structure and singing area.

I really amazed on how the place becomes more progressive , spacious swimming pools perfect for kids and adults. A water slide and a water fountain on each side of the pools. It was very enjoyable and memorable family moments here. Until next post, have a happy new year to all of us.
