BECOMING THE BEST VERSION OF ME: Embracing my true self

Hello everyone! I’m truly grateful to be here on the Hive Blog platform, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for the warm welcome each of you has given me. It means so much to have the chance to share my story, thoughts, and experiences with this wonderful community.

Let me introduce myself: my name is Vea Mae Bartolome, and you can call me @BBX11. At 24 years old, I come from the vibrant city of Davao in the Philippines. As the eldest of seven siblings, I know firsthand the beautiful chaos and deep connections that a large family brings. My parents, who work tirelessly as farmers, inspire me daily with their unwavering dedication and resilience. Although they didn’t have the opportunity to pursue higher education, but they have always taught me invaluable lessons about hard work, kindness, and compassion—principles that resonate deeply with me and have shaped my perspective on life. I cherish my childhood memories, filled with joyful moments, playful adventures, and the strong, unbreakable family bonds.

Now, I’d like to share a little about my own family. I am a devoted mother to one sweet child and a loving wife to my supportive husband. Balancing motherhood and family life can be challenging, but it is also incredibly rewarding. My primary focus is nurturing my child as they grow and explore the world. This intimate journey has taught me so much about patience and unconditional love, and I embrace it with all my heart. I am deeply thankful to my parents for instilling in me the importance of family values and the strong sense of togetherness that we’ve built. As I embark on this journey of parenthood, I feel a strong commitment to pass on their lesson of love, respect, and perseverance to my children. I genuinely look forward to connecting with all of you and sharing our experiences, that we are all on this beautiful journey.
