Greetings ASEAN Hivers, whether it be a birdhouse, apple pie, or even a home-made go-kart, anything DIY is fair game for this week's challenge so long as you do it yourself.
DIY orojects are common all over the world, but in many places of SE Asia, a little DIY ingenuity is required just to survive day-to-day. The most important thing about this week's challenge is that you share the steps and/or instructions and try to make your project as easy to follow or re-create as possible.
It could be something as simple as a small home repair or a homemade cake, DIY covers a wide range of possibilities. Writing and photography will both be very important for this challenge because written instructions are 50% of any DIY project. It might help to have a partner for this challenge also to do the photography in the case that both of your hands are occupied during the project. Okay ASEAN Hivers, I think that explains things, let's keep moving.....
There were a lot of incredible entries for this challenge, and I really shouldn't have read the entries late at night while hungry. I was surprised to see so many new foods I wasn't previously familiar with, and our 1st prize winner is a pro when it comes to composition and photo angles for food photography. Please take some time to look at the three winning posts below and explore anything of interest.
Black forest is a popular cake and is always synonymous with birthday cakes in my area, even though it is not a local Indonesian cake. The delicious sweet taste with the addition of sweet cream makes children remember clearly what they want for cake on their birthday. This time, I will share Portrait Photography of mini black forest cakes that I bought from my friend. She opened a cake shop and I was happy to be able to help her cake business by buying these cakes.
Happy New Year hivers! Now this is a good theme after the holidays! Hmmm, I have prepared many dishes that I love to share with you guys. This was last Dec. 24. I only prepared some dishes just enough for the four of us plus our baby since my youngest and other grandson couldn't make it. It's a waste if not consumed and there's still the New Year's eve!
What I am about to share right now are the Food Trips and the Food Highlights I am into with my friends from last year 2023. I have visited different restaurants and establishment which I've also tried their affordable and very delicious Food offers. I am presenting with all of my the first Restaurant that I've visited and tried their foods with my friends. This restaurant is located at our Municipality, the Municipality of Manticao.
Delegators are valued members of our community, so each @asean.hive curation post (other than the main weekly delegator raffle post) features a mini delegator raffle in the footer, with the winner receiving 15% post beneficiary.
Great topic selection this time, although I can make a variety of diy projects with paper, I will try to participate. Congratulations to the winners of the previous round of competitions.
