Greetings ASEAN Hivers, this week's challenge takes us to the water, well, unless you know some dry docked boats in your area.
Β Β Β No matter where you ASEAN Hivers live in SE Asia, or perhaps even SE Asians abroad, there are always some boats nearby. Whether it be a cruise ship on the ocean or a laundry bowl in a flooded street, there are various kinds of vessels big and small to document for this week's challenge. For folks in Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, and the Philippines, this mission should be easy because the sea is never far.
Β Β Β A visit to a local marina or even a stroll through the village may result in some boat photography opportunities. Even though I live on a whitewater river here in the Cardamoms, the only boats around me fit in the palm of my hand, which reminds me that even toy boats are acceptable for this one. Good luck ASEAN Hivers, have fun and don't forget your lifejackets for this photography challenge.
Β Β Β There were so many incredible entries for this challenge that I found it hard to choose only three for the winners' circle. In the end I made some hard choices to present you all three origami posts below. All three posts make it very easy to follow along in the case you want to recreate any of these pieces by yourself. Please take a moment to check out these three awesome posts if you are an origami lover.
I don't have much ideas on what origami craft should I present for this entry at first but after watching some origami crafts on Facebook, I decided to made this "Pair of Polo with Coat and Skirt" since it's easier to do and my daughter love to have it so yesterday morning I made those two pairs using different colors of color paper. The color orange with light yellow polo was the first that I made. It was a sample one. I was following every steps that I saw on the video that I played.
Hey friends... :) I'm happy to participate this time as I haven't joined the previous challenge. The topic for ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #85 is Origami. Origami is the Japanese art of paper-folding. Though I'm a huge fan of Japanese culture, I'm not really that passionate about this craft. Sure there are simple ones that we can easily follow, there are other high-level origami that I can't even imagine doing. haha Well, if I want to relax and practice my dexterity, I can try making some.
Today I want to take part in the @aseanhive dikumonitas challenge, it's time for all of us to make origami into something beautiful and beautiful friends, Thank you very much to @justinparke for choosing origami paper and sponsoring the prize for who will win later I really like the origami theme even though I won't I will get a prize later, but I am very happy and happy to be able to take part in this week's challenge Because origami is something that I really like and like to make beautiful and cute works of art.
Β Β Β Delegators are valued members of our community, so each @asean.hive curation post (other than the main weekly delegator raffle post) features a mini delegator raffle in the footer, with the winner receiving 15% post beneficiary.
Oh, wow! Thank you so much sir @justinparke and @asean.hive Community. I never expect to win the previous challenge as other entries were also great. Congratulations also to @nurul-uli and @tegoshei.
Another interesting challenge. I'm excited to see some boats entries. Goodluck to those who will participate in this challenge.
You more than earned it my friend, such an awesome and engaging post. Your participation and engagement brings a lot of encouragement, good vibes, and value to ASEAN Hive.
Wow! Amazing origami. I so love how they were crafted. Honestly, the last time I made one was during my elementary days in Art class. I also knew someone here in Hive who is good at this and she usually posts at the CCH community. I wonder if she knew about this.
I love origami but lack the patience to do more complex designs. The best thing I have ever created is a small t-shirt from a dollar bill, haha.
Hello Sir @justinparke and @asean.hive community. Here's my entry for this challenge:

I'm glad I am able to enter this challenge before the countdown timer ends.
Back again, lots of boats in Cebu, I look forward to diving into your post.
This is a wonderful challenge. I hope the weather is clear by the weekend so I can do a morning walk to the beach and catch some boats.
Well, if it doesn't work out there is always a new challenge every week.
Another great theme has been brought forward, we will see some great participation. Congratulations to last week's winners, well done.
Your country is full of low land, so I am sure there are plenty of boats from the small to the large.
Yes, you are right. Also, our country is called a riverine country, during the rainy season a number of boats are seen in every village for transportation. But not towards the city.
Hello! This is my entry in this challnge:
