Greetings ASEAN Hivers, this week's challenge is about an age-old problem, balancing work and life, so show me how you juggle these two things.
Β Β Β This challenge is inspired by my the events of my life the last few weeks. I am terrible at balancing work and life, and last week I fell further behind on my ASEAN Hive duties than ever before, mostly due to some pressing immigration and visa issues that I had to sort out. Anyhow, balancing work and life sounds like a simple concept, but it's often easier said than done.
Β Β Β I want to know how you ASEAN Hivers balance work and life. Perhaps you have a family business and combine some of the two, or maybe you have a long commute and work long hours, making free time a very cherished thing to be used wisely. We all live different lives, so I think this challenge will give us all a good opportunity to show how we handle life's challenges.
Β Β Β The three winning entries featured here are all tempting tofu dishes, and all would be easy to re-create at home following the ingredients and instructions provided. The 2nd prize winner is a dish similar to one my wife makes often, and I really shouldn't have curated these tasty treats while hungry. Please have a scroll and support anything of interest.
I was not a fan of Tofu before, so when my mom introduced tofu to us she just fried it and that's it I wasn't that fan of the taste and my mom always added tofu to her grocery list so I had no choice I am the cook in the house I maybe have to research what recipe should I used to make this Tofu. Until I discovered this recipe that changed my taste pallet and started liking tofu.
Hello, hiver friends! Yesterday, I came across a post about the new challenge on Hive, and I was so excited to join. The challenge is all about creating a dish with tofu, which we call βtokwaβ here. I donβt have tofu in my fridge, so today I went a quick trip to the market to buy some tofu and also to get some water spinach, or "kangkong, as we call it. I knew this would be the perfect convention for the dish I had in mind. When I got home, my husband immediately asked me what we were having for lunch.
I was in two minds about participating in this week's challenge of ASEAN Hive Community, which is about "Chef Challenge: Tofu" because I've posted some of my tofu recipes here already. But then, I also thought why not? Since there are still a lot of different ways to cook tofu, and besides, my family likes to eat tofu, so we often have it as a replacement for meat. It was good timing because I was craving for togue or mung bean sprout, and this veggie is also a good combination for tofu.
Β Β Β Delegators are valued members of our community, so each @asean.hive curation post (other than the main weekly delegator raffle post) features a mini delegator raffle in the footer, with the winner receiving 15% post beneficiary.
