Southeast Asia and coffee are pretty fond of each other, so for this challenge I want to see how you ASEEAN Hivers like your coffee.
Β Β Β Iced coffee, hot coffee, black coffee, espresso, the list of coffee drinks is nearly endless, and so are the ways each Southeast Asian country likes to traditionally brew their coffee. This challenge is very flexible, you can show me how you prepare coffee at home, how you order it at your local coffee shop, or even just share the various brewing methods and coffee culture of your country. Feel free to add extra things like a tour of the coffee shop or where you like to sit and sip if you take your coffee at home.
Β Β Β I will even tolerate decaf coffee and tea for you non-coffee drinkers, but just remember to tell us in the post why you don't drink coffee. Well-known coffee brands in your country anything else you feel you'd like to add to the post is welcome. Perhaps with some good photography skills some of you can capture some rising steam, that always makes for a good shot. Okay, I think that sums it up, you all get the idea, so let's keep moving....
Β Β Β Many of us ASEAN Hivers have had the experience of living in both rural and urban environments, so this challenge saw a lot of interest and a lot of entries, so I thank you all for the participation. It did however, make my job quite hard to choose only three big winners, but I did my best and settled on the three outstanding posts I have featured below. Our Pinay members dominated this challenge, taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes, but I swear it's a coincidence and I have no Philippines preference π.
As I explored my social media, the image above makes me wanna live in a countryside again. I miss those times when all I saw was the green surrounding. When the weather was warm, I just whistled with a crying tone to call the air. In just five seconds, I felt the fresh air hit my skin. The plants were swaying like they danced happily. Theyβre welcoming like they tell us these reasons why we should live there:
I was born in the province of Zambales, and I have seen the simplest life in a rural area. The trees, the fresh air, and the neighborhood is different. But when I grew up, I have also seen the other side - the urban. I studied in the city for a few years and experienced the life in there as well. After my graduation, I also went to the city to grab opportunities. I was hired right away, and I had to relocate. It was a major adjustment to me living from the rural to urban. From the silent nights at the neighborhood, to the busy streets up until night.
I was born in Lapu-Lapu City, but even before I turned a year old, my parents decided we live with my paternal grandparents in a small city in the island of Negros. Well, due to the nature of my father's job, we didn't stay there for a long time and we transferred back to my and my mom's hometown. We lived with my maternal grandparents for a while before my family decided to live in Cebu City. Not long after that, my father was again transferred to a small town of Pinamungajan (countryside of Cebu) when I was around 3-5 years old.
Β Β Β Delegators are valued members of our community, so each @asean.hive curation post (other than the main weekly delegator raffle post) features a mini delegator raffle in the footer, with the winner receiving 15% post beneficiary.
Thank you so much @asean.hive and @justinparke . I am gushing for winning. Itβs hard for me this time to interact because my phone is gone but Iβll try my best.

I love my coffee strong and black, just like my mornings, it kickstarts my day. Plus, nothing beats the aroma of freshly brewed coffee moving through the house π !LOLZ
I agree, but lately I am guilty of drinking the cheap instant coffee packets after my daughter broke my coffee maker, haha.
hahahahahah as long as it's healthy and you enjoy it I believe it's fine !LOLZ

I want my coffee, hot with and black with sprinkle of Cinnamon powder. Its aroma is hmmm, and paired with some Sweet cakes or bread.
Sometimes I put a little cinnamon powder in my coffee too.
