Greetings Hivers, @justinparke here with a brand new ASEAN Hive Community Challenge for you all, "👩🍳🍜 The Great ASEAN Cook-Off 🍛👨🍳."
Most Southeast Asian folks are pretty decent home chefs, especially when compared to the rest of the world. Where I'm from in the USA, local people barely know how to use anything beyond salt, pepper, and garlic to give food a little flavor. Needless to say, this is why I fell in love with foreign food from a young age, and SE Asian cuisine is among my favorites. Us ASEAN Hivers have access to a wide range of ingredients and cooking styles, so I'd like to see participants prepare a dish of your choice complete with instructions/ingredients.
Hopefully you will have a more successful experience than the home chef in the above GIF, and do remember safety first my ASEAN Hivers. Don't forget to use tags like #foodie, #diy, and #lotus (for vegetarian/vegan dishes) to earn some Hive-Engine tokens in addition to your HBD/HIVE rewards. I've already seen many of you cook and share your culinary talents with us, so I'm very excited to see what you all may prepare for a challenge.
You all have a wide array of hobbies, and this challenge was a very interesting one for me. I loved reading all of the entries, and by the end I wanted a snorkel, a couple kilos of LEGOs, and a sewing machine. As usual, it was hard to choose only three winners but I did the deed so this challenge can live on. Thanks to all participants.
Delegators are valued members of our community, so each @asean.hive curation post (other than the main weekly delegator raffle post) features a mini delegator raffle in the footer, with the winner receiving 10% post beneficiary.
Here's my entry for Challenge#10:

I love anything tasty I can grasp with my hands, and I can see myself cruising down the highway in the tuk-tuk munching on one of these wraps.
Oh yes! Especially when they're still hot and crunchy. The fresh ones is another treat you could easily grab! Lol!
Hello Aseanhive!
Here's my entry!
Thank you @justinparke for another great challenge!
Nom nom nom, looks delicious, can't wait to dive into this recipe.
Congratulations to the featured winners! 🎉
I am happy that I am able to participate this week challenge. Thank you sir @justinparke! Here's my entry.
Magic Shikika always brings something tasty to the ASEAN Hive table.
Oh yes! Tasty and delicious! 🥰 Hope to sell some tasty foods here in asean hive community. 😁
Congratulations to the winning pet owners. I'm not much of a cook and I really dislike cooking but I can't wait to see the delicious food other hivers prepare.
I understand, but I guess by necessity you've got to be a decent cook living on a boat and all. No restaurant can save the day when you're over the deep blue. Do you ever fish from your boat and prepare it?
Hubby fishes, cleans it, cooks it on the bbq. All I have to do is season it, wrap it in foil and make a salad. 🤷♀️
Thank you all, congratulations to other winners. Having the contest makes it easier for me to think what to write. Lets us join in, excited to read your cooking.
I would love to see your chefery talents. Filipino cuisine is probably the SE Asian country whose food I am least familiar with, so I always seeing dishes from your corner of the world.
Congrats to all the winners of contest week #9. And fot this week #10 I'm excited to participate. I hope I can. Because this past days I am so busy.
You've always got a dish up your sleeve, I know it. Looking forward to it....
Thank you so much. 🙂
This is a great topic as ASEAN is well known for its great variety of delicious and also unusual food.
We have so many talented cooks, so this was a natural choice, thanks my friend.
oh glad i came across this post! i wish i could join because i've been cooking lately because mama's sick.
Nice to see you again, I know you've been away for awhile. Hope your mama is feeling well soon.
Thank you, Justin! It's still a long way for mama though I'll try to drop by whenever I can.
seems to be a chef in a day for me it doesn't matter I will try to be the best chef, this week,, just wait for my entry..
I've seen you make some very tempting dishes, your balado is always appetizing. One of my favorite dishes from your country is cassava leaf curry.
Congratulations to you the winner of this week's challenge, your pet is very cute and also amazing.. 👏👏
That cat-dog duo was irresistible, too cute not to win.
Congratulations all! and the new theme is very perfect for me, I will attend sure. Thanks
Your recipes are always tempting. I prefer South Asian style food to SE Asian, but I enjoy both. It took a long time for my Cambodian family to get used to eating spices like cumin, mustard seeds, methi, etc., but now they love it. I

Scallops, that was one of my favorite foods as a child, but we didn't exactly get fresh ones in Indiana, 1,600 km from the sea 😄.
oops! I am really outdated!
Do you mean you are behind on the challenges?
This is my entry for the contest

Thanks for joining, but I failed to find any SE Asian connection. Korea is not culturally or geographically SE Asia, nor an ASEAN member country. Do you happen to live in a SE Asian country? If you don't, one way you could produce relevant content for this community is to make sure there is Southeast Asian element to your post.
Oh, this is very exciting contest. 👏👏
Always my pleasure.
Hello this is my entry for this week.. 😊😊
