Belated Merry Christmas and Advance Prosperous New Year, everyone!!
It's been a while since I’ve been active in posting here on Hive. I haven’t posted much since the tragic incident we encountered due to typhoon Tino with severe flooding.
I was so busy at our temporary home in SRP, and I was always exhausted because of the chaotic environment.
Last December 18, we finally moved here to the countryside, and we’re kind of thankful to the devastating typhoon...heheh!!

We considered it a blessing in disguise because we finally live here. Living in the countryside is one of our dreams, and it’s now fulfilled. We lived in the nearby countryside many years ago, and we all loved staying there. But we had to go back and live in the city for my daughter's studies, and my husband was working in the city at that time too.
But now that my husband retired from his work as a police officer and my daughter finished her university life and has a job which is work from home, living in the countryside is the best choice as long as there is electricity, water connection and, of course, internet connection.

I was really amazed by the surroundings the moment we arrived here. It's absolutely different from the city. I was so stunned seeing the natural beauty of nature. Touching my feet on the grassy ground, savoring the fresh air and having fun hearing the beautiful sounds of the birds. I also enjoy watching the cows and goats in the neighborhood.
It is really refreshing, relaxing and peaceful.
I was excited to write and post how I feel being in the countryside immediately; however, I was tempted to personally help with cleaning the house and especially the surroundings, which we prepared for planting vegetables.

I think some of you here know that, aside from cooking, planting or gardening is among the things I’m passionate about. And here I am, starting to live my dream.

I enjoyed cleaning the yard with the help of some relatives. Mostly kids whom I considered as my "apo" grandchild or grandchildren. It's so fun working with them. Yes, I definitely felt tired, but it's also totally different from being tired when I was in the city.
I cannot tolerate staying under the heat of the sun, even for 15 minutes in the city, because of my migraine. But here in the countryside, to be honest, I gained more energy that enables me to stay under the heat of the sun for more than an hour, multitasking chores for a much longer time and yet I am not exhausted. Maybe because of the nature around our place. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna love staying here and might even recover from my health problem. I really wish for it to happen with the grace of our Almighty Savior.

Our two fur babies, on the other hand, Max and Arashi, are also enjoying themselves here. They can regularly do their walking early in the morning and in the afternoon. Although they still do their routine separately.

We also like to stay outside the house at night before going to bed. My daughter @tegoshei has fun taking photos even at night.
I think the environment that surrounds us really matters, especially in our health.
We still have a lot to do inside and outside the house. There's a lot to reconstruct or renovate, but we'll do it little by little when we already have enough budget for them.
I'll surely update you on whatever progress we make in the future. I'll also update you on my new garden here.
I'll just end my post here for now and see you around.
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your effort in reading my post.
God bless everyone and have a wonderful new year!! 🙂🙏🎉💖

I would also choose to live in that kind of environment. Peaceful and surrounded by nature. As long as there's electricity😁
This is a best choice or decision, right...?
Living in a peaceful place and away from pollution.
