My birthday wish came true! I said Universe, I wish to see a very beautiful sunrise and sunset on my birthday.... And voila! Ask and it is given! It is done!♥️♥️♥️

Howdy @everyone!🤗🤠
If you’ve read my first post about our trip to San Felipe, then you already know how our little birthday escape began. Let me share the link so you won't miss part 1.

But Thursday... Thursday was all about slowing down, letting go, and simply living in the moment.

For this part, this will all be narration my friends because sadly I did not take any pictures. Hubby and I were both busy because we don't know the place so we have to rely on manual directions, hahaha, asking the locals.😄
We headed out early that day with nothing much planned. In fact, we didn’t even bring food or utensils😀yes, Hubby just smiled and said, “We’ll just buy what we need there.” And so we did. We went to the local market, and everything felt so fresh, so alive. We bought fresh tuna to grill, some saba bananas, big crunchy tomatoes, water, some chips and of course, the famous sweet ripe mangoes that Zambales is known for. We even bought utensils and charcoal - told you, we really came unprepared! 😅😍

But somehow, that made everything more exciting.

Oh, I got a photo of the dirt road on our way out, bumpy road, I call it. 🐎🏇😍

I love how the dirt road were lined with Pine and Rainbow Eucalyptus Trees which made the air so fresh and aromatic adding some pleasant vibe.

1000067984.jpg

After the bumpy road, well back to civilization! Paved roads! I also love seeing the mountains just near us.

1000067983.jpg

After our market adventure, headed back and prepared our food. There’s something deeply satisfying about preparing food in a simple way... grilling by the beach, feeling the breeze, hearing the waves nearby. No rush. No pressure. Just the two of us, sharing a quiet, meaningful moment.♥️♥️♥️

After eating, we took a shower, and as night fell, we walked towards the seashore.

The sky, oh wow! ..... was breathtaking. It was wide, open, and filled with clouds and countless stars plus Mr. Moon gazing at us as if greeting me a Happy birthday too.

1000067973.jpg

Something we rarely see in the city. We just stood there, side by side, quietly taking it all in. No phones. No noise. Just the sound of the waves and the stillness of the night.

1000067971.jpg

Until slowly..... sleep called us.
Still gazing at the heavens, like I wish I could stay till morning but my eyes and body are both conniving so the mind had to give in, my last glance before heading to our cute little teepee hut, feeling peaceful and content.

The next day.... Yahoo! My birthday!
At exactly 6:00 AM, hubby and I walked back to the shore and we were greeted by an awesome sunrise!

1000067268.jpg

The air was cool, the sand soft beneath our feet, and the world felt calm and new. As the sun slowly rose, painting the sky with soft shades of gold and orange, I felt something deep inside me ... a quiet kind of happiness that words can hardly explain that left my teary eyed.

1000067270.jpg

We saw fishermen arriving, carrying their fresh catch. They told us they had been out since 4:30 AM. It made me pause.... life here is simple, yet full of purpose.♥️🥰

1000067668.jpg

As we walked along the shore, feeling the sand and listening to the waves, my heart just swelled with gratitude. Thank you! Thank you!

1000067847.jpg

1000067843.jpg

It was freeing.
It was peaceful.
It was beautiful in the most genuine way.

1000067849.jpg

1000067841.jpg

Not everyone gets to celebrate their birthday like this
by the sea, with the person they love most,
in a moment that feels so pure, so real, so full.
And in that moment, I felt complete.

1000067261.jpg

Then my phone rang.
It was my son, calling from college to greet me.
And just like that, even from afar, we were together. My heart felt even fuller.

1000067302.jpg

He even told me that his birthday gift for me was a Samgyupsal treat when we get back home. Such a simple gesture, yet it meant so much.
How I love my life!♥️♥️♥️

1000067994.jpg

By 8:00 AM, we decided to take a dip in the sea.🏊‍♀️

1000068002.jpg

1000068004.jpg

The water was refreshing, and the sand beneath felt incredibly smooth like my foot was being massaged. It was such a soothing, comforting feeling.

Every time a big wave came, I couldn’t help but jump like a child-laughing, carefree, and completely in the moment. The waves are really huge because this ocean opens up to the West Philippine Sea.

1000068012.jpg

And yes... I brought an umbrella while swimming. 😄☂️

1000068006.jpg

Honestly, it was one of the best decisions ever. The shade protected me from the intense sun, keeping me cool and comfortable. I didn’t have to worry about getting sunburnt or feeling sick after.😍😄

1000068008.jpg

Some people from afar were even taking videos of me - probably amused seeing someone swimming with an umbrella! 😀😂

1000068004.jpg

But it didn’t bother me at all.
Because at the end of the day, I was the one enjoying, hey it's my birthday so no violent reactions, okay?!!😍😅.... and taking care of myself to not burn my skin was my top priority! 😀😍

After about an hour, we decided to rest. My husband was telling a joke and this photo right here was when we were both just laughing our hearts out!😍😄

1000068014.jpg

After our dip we headed back and spent time with the owners of the resort who are empty nesters like ourselves. They are our church mates so we know them.

1000067817.jpg

And then came the most magical part of the day..... The sunset! Yahoooo!

1000067380.jpg

I had quietly wished for it - that I would be able to witness a beautiful sunset on my birthday.

1000067384.jpg

1000067383.jpg

And the universe... did not disappoint.

As the sun slowly descended, the sky turned into a canvas of gold, orange, and soft pink hues. The light reflected on the water, shimmering like tiny pieces of heaven scattered across the sea.

1000068019.jpg

It was breathtaking.
Peaceful.
Perfect.

There’s something so special about having a wish come true - especially a simple one. It fills your heart with a deep sense of joy, gratitude, and wonder.

In that moment, I felt seen.
I felt blessed.
I felt....loved.

It wasn’t just a sunset.
It was a reminder that sometimes, the simplest moments
are the most extraordinary ones.

And truly, truly
it was a perfect birthday.♥️♥️♥️

Hope you loved reading my post.
See you on part 3!

You are loved,
@aideleijoie♥️
