Greetings, Asean Hive Community! It's my first time posting here and I'm happy that I'm able to participate in this week's challenge. Though I had seen the last week's challenge, I hadn't been able to make an entry to it since I didn't have photos to submit. Glad and thankful that this week's challenge is up to my liking and when I browse my gallery I saw some photos that fits to the theme.
When I read the theme of this week challenge which is all about Blue, I was very happy and excited as I really love blue and thanks to sir @justinparke for this interesting theme for this week.
Since I was on my teenage years, when someone asked me what's my favorite color I would immediately say BLUE. For me, this color looks cool. I remembered way back when I was in my fourth year in high school, one of my friend gifted me a Blue Kitty Handkerchief as she knew what my favorite color was. I was so happy receiving it and had kept it in our house after graduation but when I transferred here in Mindanao, all the things that I kept in my closet in Cebu were all gone. Maybe they had thrown those things away. :-(
Oh, seems like I'm getting far away from the topic so let's get back to this Blue Challenge. Here are the photos with blues on it. Hope you will enjoy reading this until the last part.
A photo taken last two weeks ago when I'm trying to capture the reflection of the signage beside it that was supposed to be submitted in the reflection contest the other week but I didn't make this an entry as I wanted to post more than two photos in my reflection entry blog but I only had this one available at that time. Then, I found new reflection photos to be submitted the next day after this photo was taken so I set aside this one and also planned on deleting it but I always forgot. This photo has now it's purpose and I'm glad that I always forget deleting it.
This was taken when we went to the "BIGBANG BENTE-BENTE 20 ALL ITEMS" Store to buy few school supplies for my children. I let my daughter held my phone and as expected, I saw lots of photos of the items found inside the store and this was one of those many photos. I didn't delete it though because I supposed to make a blog about our purchase in the store but up to now I haven't started that blog that I thought of so I'll use this photo here instead.
We were doing a sideline work when this photo was taken. It was my youngest son who took photo of it as I was busy assembling the cabinet of my partner's friend. My husband had asked for my assistance in this sideline work that his friend offered so I gladly helped him. So while both of us were busy doing each work that we need to accomplished that day, my youngest son was busy making videos and capturing different things he saw inside and outside the house. The videos that he took were already deleted but the few photos that he took including this still remained in my gallery. Maybe one of these days I will upload some of those in my Facebook account so I have a remembrance of that day.
We were just roaming around the neighborhood when I captured this photo of my youngest son. The sun was scorching hot at that time, so I let him used the umbrella to protect him from the sun. This umbrella is his elder brother's umbrella and we asked permission to use this because his umbrella was destroyed.
A day without listening to songs played by our favorite radio station is a little bit boring. It's always my daughter who will turn on the music box and yesterday as I was thinking of another blue entry, the blue light that came from the music box caught my eyes. But because there are three lights alternately appearing, so I need a timing to be able to capture it and glad it didn't take so much time. Just a few minutes then I already took the blue light.
It was noon time when this photo was taken. My daughter who had finished taking a bath joined us outside as we were relaxing because it's so hot inside. As I saw her, I'm amazed to see her looking beautifully wearing that hijab so I took a photo of her but she wasn't facing the camera at that time. And as look back at these photos, I decided to flex this one as it also fit to the theme blue.
I never thought a time would come for these photos to be used. That day, we went to the infirmary to let my second son get check up because he was suffering from stomachache for how many days already. After getting checked by the doctor, we went outside to find pharmacies to buy the medicines prescribed by the doctor for my son. While I was busy assisting my son walking beside the road, my daughter then was also busy taking pictures and these two were what she took. These arts weren't clear anymore. I think these were painted few years ago but since no one had taken care of it, so those slowly faded as time pass by. There are still lots of arts found on some walls at the back of the Infirmary but same with the two photos above, those slowly faded too.
Lastly, a photo of yours truly. Lol. I took a selfie of myself which is very rare of me to do. At that time, I felt like I'm pretty so I took a photo of myself so bear with please, hahaha. This dark blue shirt is my favorite shirt to wear since it's very comfy to use. It has a pajama pair but I didn't wear it anymore so I gave it to my son which fit with him perfectly.
Here's a cup of coffee to end this blog. Cheers, everyone!
Thanks for the time reading this!

Well you found lots of blue for this one, some really beautiful shots, especially the hijab flying in the wind, what a beautiful fabric to pair with the blue sky in the background. I think the Jeepneys are so cool, something unique to your country that is in danger of being lost due to modern changes.
Thanks Sir @justinparke. Oh, the hijab shot is what I like the most. The fabric matched with the color of the sky and I'm glad that I was able to take a photo of it that day.. I agree, the jeepney looks cool. Yeah, most likely it will be lost in the near future since there are many modern means of transportation especially in the city areas, but In the rural areas maybe it will still be used.
