In my last post, I reminded us as Entrepreneurs the need for marketing our businesses whether products or services owning to the fact that... It is 20% for product making or service providing and 80% marketing. One of the ways to market as an entrepreneur is "Sales Pictching" which I shared different kinds you can do and in today's post, I'll share more practical ways to go about it.
There are kinds of sales pitching that any entrepreneur can employ in marketing their businesses which I've shared already but I'll be sharing the "Five Cs in Sales Pitch" that you'll need to succeed in sealing deals with your customers or patronizers. A sales pitch will be more compelling when these Cs are employed.
Ever heard of "Customer Segmentation"? It's something new I learnt that would help any Entrepreneur, you don't just become skilled at your service or making your products, creating your products having both the high level and low level class consumers in mind is you playing your cards right, it's called customer segmentation.
I am bringing this up because for the five Cs I'll share, you'll need to actually have that in mind when you employ them to make a perfect sales pitch. Do not just try to sell, have your listeners or potential customers in mind. Now, the five Cs!
If you want to own your sales pitch, grab your listeners attention, seal deals from your sales pitch, then you have to be very clear on whatever you say. Whether you're sale pitching to educated people, illiterates, youth or older people, you must have clarity in your voice and the choices of words you use to pitch your service or product.
As you sale pitch especially in the storytelling form, try to connect with your potential customers by giving real life examples, information and even general knowledge of your products or services. Connect them to what you do and hold their attention to the point of them asking questions on how to become a customer.
People tend to want to know the story of the face or brain behind a business they come across to check their credibility whether to patronize or not. As an entrepreneur, you have to own up to your words. Meeting deadlines, fulfilling promises and knowing when to compromise as an entrepreneur increases your credibility level in your sales pitch.
As I've said about customer segmentation, this one is a bit close to it. When you pitch your sale, you should consider the different classes of customers to be able to entertain all and increase your sales reach. Your sales pitch should be customizable meaning you should be dynamic in pitching to a wider range of potential customers.
Don't just sell your business with words, get the listeners or your potential customers to action by doing maybe a quick sale or bonanza that you won't lose your profits but it would still looks like an offer not to miss to them. I witness this call to action in play and I must say, it's success rate is very high and it brings in long term customers.
Those are the five Cs in sales pitch as I have promised to share and I hope they will be useful in anyway to you, Entrepreneurs. Do let me know in the comment sections if you have contributions or questions regarding the focus of the post. I'll very much appreciate your input.

Wonderful and profound knowledge you've dropped here.
I can also relate to the point of call to action. I've seen it play and very resourceful it was.
Glad you can testify to one of them, it's a effective strategy.
Yeah it is.
It was in my 9th standard when I first knew that worth pf product is determined mainly by its marketing rather than its production.
It is marketing which clearly elaborates rhe details about products and make them accustomed to customers
That's one thing any business person should have in mind. Have the best product but make sure to market it in the best way too.
Most of the time, I have come to discover that a whole lot of businesses are finding it hard to actually record a sale
Yeah, it's why they have to take into consideration their marketing strategies.
All of these Cs are very necessary.
You see that credibility, I can skip, snub and walk away from such person if they are not keeping to their words. I hate disappointment to the core
Lol and it's what a lot of fashion designers tend to struggle with, meeting up with deadlines. 😅
Thanks for sharing, one really do need the five Cs for their business to thrive
Yeah, thanks for stopping by.
Always welcome 🤗
