Got Some Locally Grown and Roasted Coffee Beans + Coffee Grinder <3

When my father and I were heading home last week from visiting my late uncle's wake, we had to stop at a bus station near a large shopping mall. On the way to the station, I spotted a small coffee shop and thought of getting some coffee, as I was feeling exhausted from the commute.

However, getting iced coffee for both my father and me costs a lot, so I figured I could just make some at home instead. Then I noticed that the coffee shop is actually selling some roasted coffee beans, and I personally love roasted coffee. The smell is incredible, and it's just so soothing to drink.

So, instead of getting us some ready-to-drink coffee, I decided to buy their product and make a lot more cups in the days to come.

There was a slight problem, though... I originally wanted to buy the granulated one, but I was given a bag of whole roasted coffee beans instead.

And I didn't have any coffee grinder, or any grinder at home. So, I checked online and ordered one.

It arrived the other day, so I did some unboxing and tried using it. :)

I ordered an electric grinder from Lazada. I originally wanted to get the manual coffee grinder because it looked so cool, but Mama also wanted to grind some peanuts and some spices for cooking, so we got a multipurpose one.

The product arrived in the evening, so I decided to try grinding some of the beans to check if it was working... and it did! :)

Since it was late, I didn't make any coffee and just set it aside for me to have the next morning. So, fast forward the next day...

I still have some disposable coffee filters left from when I got that Japanese coffee a few months ago.

I've been into Nescafé Tradição Forte recently. It's instant coffee, but it smells and tastes really good. And since it's instant, I need not use these filters. :) Anyway, going back to the coffee I made...

The coffee was excellent! I'm so happy with the purchase because it's not just a one-time drink... I still have a lot of beans left to grind for the future and my favorite instant coffee.

I also got some other brand of instant coffee, which was a freebie from buying soymilk. I usually use it when I make an iced soy latte at home.

I was the only one who drank coffee for breakfast this morning, though. My father is sick and had to take his medicine, so he just had green tea with kalamansi. My mom also had tea. She sometimes drinks coffee, but she prefers tea or a chocolate drink in the morning.

As for me, I love black coffee, though I also like adding soymilk to it sometimes. Anyway, the coffee went well with my brekky this morning. I had some butterscotch loaf and hopia. I can't wait to have another cup of coffee when I wake up tomorrow morning, so I'll end this post here and go to dreamland! The earlier I go to sleep, the sooner I can have a cup of coffee. LOL

See you around! (^^,)/

The roasted coffee must've been smelling so good. By the way, you can also invest more in french press or a moka pot, they'll elevate your coffee drinking experience. You also did a great job investing in the grinder as you know, freshly grinded coffee is the best and most delicious way to enjoy drinking it.
